I read a lot of reviews and then decided to order it regardless of the winning cry babies out there. I repair everything myself around here. There are very few products that I use that I actually get pleasure working with, this is one of them. Sure it has a slight bit of extra glue here and there but it does not interfere with its use at all. When you put this stuff on it sticks, and that is the most important aspect you want. It is not super stiff as some say, it is just right. I used this to seal a cellar window I built that needs to come back out when I need it to so I can load wood through the whole. I stuck it against somewhat rough wood trim and it adheres tremendously. It is about an 1/8” thick I believe so I had one spot that still has a slight air leak, but then again I built this myself and it does not have perfection to it. If I did it again I would go to 1/2” thickness so it has just a bit more absorption for flaws. Still, I am very happy with this product and the outcome.

I liked the tight, closed cell quality of this weather stripping tape. I used it on my car door panels to stop rattling caused by playing the car sound system at high volume and it worked very well. It is like commercial grade weather stripping except it goes a step further.Because the tape is thin, there is a filament fabric applied to the adhesive side that gives it resistance to stretching. This helps because when stretched during application, the tape tends to shrink back to it's original state, leaving gaps.The adhesive adheres well to the smooth surfaces I applied it to even though some of them were only 1/4" wide (I cut the tape in half lengthwise with a scissors).The only troubling encounter I had was how the tape was packed for shipping. It was sent in a package, and the adhesive on the side of the roll was stuck to the package when I opened it, causing the roll to come out of the package in a tangled mess. I re-rolled the tape so that I could store and use it later. After my complaint, the vendor said that they will add wax paper to the sides of the roll or pack it in a box to resolve the problem.I recommend this tape and would purchase it again.

The foam is very firm, which is what I needed. The adhesive is very strong. For some reason the bond didn't last on one of my projects, but that could just be the particular surface I was trying to attach it to.

This outstanding weather stripping for doors is perfect for sealing tight door gaps, and it stops air leaks. It's easy to install and prevents air infiltration, as well as prevents insects from coming into the house. It is also a great noise reducer. It's the best product on the market...I tried weather stripping from other companies and was very disappointed. I am so happy to have found this brand through Amazon, since it is not available through Home Depot or Lowes. You will love the quality of this weather stripping!

Works well for its intended purpose. Has good adhesion, peels easily, seems to be ok product.

you may be a bit disappointed initially. Otherwise, you will be very pleased with this tape. Deciding on it or the Yotache High Density Foam Tape Neoprene Weather Stripping was challenging. The Overall and the Adhesion ratings for this tape are slightly higher. The "Seal Gasket" description and solid black color were key since it was replacing a gasket under a glass cook-top that disintegrated when the cook-top was removed to repair a burner. The tape was easy to cut and install and adhered firmly to cook-top. I tried 1/4" foam tape but even compressed by the cook-top, it was noticeably raised above the counter. The 1/16" is perfect. The thickness is uniform and the cook-top looks as good if not better than before.

Used it to replace the seals on our dust collectors bags. Worked good.

This insulation seal will make you wish you had bought it years ago instead of fiddling with the flimsy kinds that don’t stick for long. I love the sturdy dense foam that is still supple enough to compress when door closes on it. The adhesive is superior to the common seals sold in hardware stores. I strongly recommend this product.
