We have a small garden pond with a waterfall in it. For the past 4 years I've had to drain it and clean it at least once a summer, usually twice. I tried numerous pond clarity products, and added them daily per the instructions, and once it was green, I could never get it back to clear without draining everything.I figured I would give this a try, because what did I have to lose? The pond was green by the time it showed up. I bought this in the middle of June with the expectations to give it 2 weeks to start working. By July it was noticeably less green. We are now in mid-August, and its clear as can be. No smells. No algae. This worked amazingly!

Worked well in my koi pond at the top of the waterfall. After about eight months, the straw disintegrated and the mesh cover broke apart but the product really did help control the algae in my pond. So I ordered it again.

Merely drop in in the pond and it controls algae. Doesn't harm pond lilies or fish.

Was unable to see into my pond at all - 5ftx10ft x 2ft. zero visibility due to algae bloom. Put this in with an improved bigger filter and in just over a week we can now see bottom of pond. Killed off algae bloom for sure. Confident that given a few more weeks we will have crystal clear water at this rate. Enough in bail for 6 months use for pond my size.

Not sure if it actually works. Weighted it and sunk it into my big tank (300 gallons). My horses dove in for it even though they are on pasture and are never denied any food. My mare just HAD to have it. Ripped it open within days of it being placed so I left all the floaters in. Noticed yesterday that I'm getting red mold. Not sure if product just doesn't work, if she ate too much of it to work, or if it needs to be in a clump to work.
