CORTAS Pomegranate Molasses, 10 FZ

I searched for and was disappointed in other products labeled pomegranate molasses until I found a website where this one was touted. This is the real deal from Lebanon. It's thicker than syrup and true to it's description of molasses. The taste is a burst of piquancy and tartness and sweetness in a combination that puts an arugula, sliced pear and goat cheese salad over the top. A little drizzled on anything goes a long way. The packaging of the glass bottle was so secure that it guaranteed an unblemished product. A unique taste that is addictive and healthy. The main ingredient is pomegranate and the other ingredient is a natural sweetener so it's not low calorie per serving but considering the scant amount you need it is well worth both the calorie count and the price of the bottle.

I was expecting a sweet thick molasses like product. This is much thinner and very tart, but it is delicious! It adds a much needed flavor boost to my low histamine diet. Use it sparingly because it’s intense.

Too much packaging but product fine.

Most delicious stuff ever if you like sweet-sour. If you like cranberry stuff, you will like this. However, for example, It's too sour to use on pancakes or to flavor water without adding it to some other sweetener. Check the internet for suggestions on how to use. My tastes are a little unconventional; I often mix it with nut meal and eat with a spoon as a treat. It takes me months to use one bottle; a little goes a long way taste-wise. I have ordered this more than once; it has always been top-quality and the bottles haven't been broken nor leaked.

Same one I can get from Persian grocery stores without the drive! (But if you have one close I recommend getting from store). GREAT taste but you have to like sour! I’m so addicted I like to eat poured over ice, so delicious.

Great addition to home made salad dressings. I need to add that this was very well packaged by seller, which is always a concern with liquids.
