These headphones are a LIFESAVER!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE these headphones. I bought one for my sweetheart and one for me. He's been recently diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer so I've tried everything to find anything that makes life easier for him. I tried other products that didn't work (headphones and transmitters) and I think they didn't work partly because they were effectively separate. I tried the non-bluetooth type Amazon sells and just couldn't get those to work either! We have my headset hooked into our main living room TV using the digital audio output and all wires are hidden as device is not hampered (unlike others before this one!!) with the TV between it and the headphones. I have my sweetheart's hooked up to the audio (headphone) jack on the kitchen TV since we can play the same show on both so it doesn't matter. Range? I can easily go a good 30'+ (no barriers/walls) before I start fading with the digital output one; but what surprised and pleased me was the range on the other one using audio jack. I can walk down the hall, go into our study, behind walls and even a fireplace, and almost go to garage before I lose signal! I'm using his for music when I clean!!! Now, when my honey needs his rest, he no longer needs to asks us to lower the volume. BUY THESE, NO LATENCY ISSUES, AWESOME, LONG BATTERY LIFE, signal remains paired; while I know they have a microphone and I can use with my phone, I choose not to do so as the instructions do say you may lose that ability on the lip sync issue & I love this too much to take a chance. I can hear the phone if it rings so I'm good. LOVE THESE! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! And I don't do that often!!!

No lag and crisp sound, once up and running
I received these promptly and they were pre-paired, as advertised. My intended use was to be able to use the headphones in the bedroom with our TV so as to not keep my spouse awake while watching late night TV. I hooked the transmitter up to the TV via optical cable and USB, or attempted to, but the included TOSlink/optical cable wouldn't plug in fully to the optical out connector on the back of my Samsung TV, as the cable isn't keyed, and wouldn't fully engage and stay plugged in. No biggie; I happened to have a spare optical cable of higher quality that worked perfectly. Initially, the sound came through loud and clear for broadcast (DirecTV), but there was no sound for Netflix nor Amazon Prime. A simple TV sound setting change from Dolby digital output to PCM audio output solved the issue, just in case anyone else has a similar issue.I've used the headphones several times now, and while lightweight and comfortable on my head, there is some sound leakage from them while wearing, but not enough to be annoying to my spouse. They even stay comfortable when on my head and I rest my head on one side on the pillow. Sound comes through clearly, a little light on bass, but with zero sound delay (lipsync issue). The instructions say to turn off the headphones when not in use to conserve the battery, but they don't say how to turn them off. I hold down the only button that pairs them and powers them on, but am not confident that they turn off, as the batteries need a recharge the next time I use them. A slight fine tuning of the included instructions sheet would be helpful.I'm satisfied with this unit, and hope they last. A little more detail supplied within the instructions sheet for powering off the headphones and compatible TV sound output settings, as well as a higher quality optical cable would make the slight shortcomings of this product disappear.

Worked once after 20 attempts, hasn't worked since.
Worked once after 20 attempts, hasn't worked since. This unit arrived earlier today. I connected the transmitter to my TV via the optical cable. According to the indicator lights the headphones and transmitter paired almost instantly, yet I had no audio. I tried poering down the transmitter and the headphones. I tried the 3.5 mm connector. I tried a Hindu rain dance. Nothing worked.I placed the headphones back on the charger. An hour or so later I tried the set again and it actually worked! I was so excited I decided to turn the headphones off and place the unit back on the charger. I have not been able to get audio out of the headphones ever since. The indicator lights show that the it does pair. Yet I have not been able to regain the audio.I have spent several hours trying different connections and different sequences to no avail. I am extremely disappointed in the time I have wasted after spending $89 on this unit. I also wasted money on a 1:3 optical splitter as well as three new cables to use with this unit.I spent $89 on this unit because it appeared to be just what I needed for late-night tv watching. I feel like I have been ripped off. I may as well have purchases a set of $19 headphones, which I'd expect to have these types of issues.

Foam ear pads will not stay on!
I had been looking for headphones to help my 96-year-old aunt hear the television, so I was excited to find these. When I received the package, I first was struck by how cheap the box appeared. Inside the box, the headphone's left foam ear pad had come off, and it was difficult to put it back on the headphones. Once the ear pad was back on, I charged the headphones and connected the transmitter to the television. I let the headphones charge for a few hours before I tried to use them. After turning the headphones on and making sure they were paired with the receiver, I put the headphones on....and the right ear pad fell off. Examining the ear pads closely, I could see they were barely staying on and any movement of them caused them to fall off. No matter what I did, they easily fell off when adjusting the headphones on my head. For the price of this product, the quality of construction should be much better. I never really got to test the quality of the sound because of the foam ear pad issue. My recommendation: do NOT buy this product until the manufacturer fixes this product defect.
