As a Pastry Chef, I Recommend!
This book, as are all Michel Roux's baking books, is a masterpiece. While not necessarily for the casual home baker, the formulas are well-developed, imaginative, very well-tested and edited and exquisite. As with ANY baking recipe book, it is vital that all ingredients, method of preparation and techniques be strictly adhered to. Baking is an exact science and, unlike cooking, calls for precision. Also, actualmoven and refrigerator temperatures of home units are often wildly off from what their readings say. Invest in excellent quality fridge and oven thermometers and adjust your appliances or baking times as necessary.

It is a good book with clasics desserts . It has excellent pictures and a detailed description on how to make the desserts.

BEST BOOK EVER
Man alive, there are some amazing recipes in this book. Maple Bourbon Sweet Potato Pie, Warm Chocolate Fondants (lava cakes), Pecan Brownies, and more... there is not a disappointing recipe in this book.The ice cream recipes are worth it alone. We'll never buy ice cream again!

Love this Chef. I've been following him and his recipes since before I went to pastry school. I'm used to grams / ounces etc. He puts the recipes in normal American household measurements. (I still convert though out of habit )

This book is highly damaged, and was described as being in “good” condition!
I wanted a lifetime book. Michael Roux is a brilliant chef, but the book sent to me was chewed up, and very sad. 😔

Perfekte Rezepte im englischen Original
Roux eigentlich sehr bekannt für das saucenkochbuch hat damit ein tolles dessertbucj gemacht. Trotz englisch ist alles in Kontinentalgewichten angegeben. Die englische Ausgabe unterscheidet sich leicht von der deutschen Übersetzung, die ungenau ist. Die Rezepte funktionieren und die Ergebnisse sind super lecker. Madelaine mit rotem Pfeffer, Zitronentarte, schokotarte mit Himbeeren. Manchmal 3 Sterne aufwendig - aber es lohnt immer. Doch Achtung - Geschmäcker sind verschieden. Das Buch taugt für Anfänger - die Rezepte sind super beschrieben. Darüber hinaus ist die englische Ausgabe gebunden und nicht nur geklebt!

RIP OFF
Total rip off from the seller for $96 (Australian dollars) . Inside book labal claimed $25 (USA Dollars). Still a big difference. Look well prices before you buy and take a picture when you choose a book. Can misteriosly change the price.
