Dance Class Women's T102 Beginning Tap Shoe

I bought these for my daughter after she outgrew the brand new ones we got through the studio IN TWO MONTHS. Price was great. Quality seems just OK. The material seems thinner than other shoes we've had (various styles & manufacturers) so I'm not sure on longevity but honestly for a once a week dance class during the school year and at the rate she's growing, I'm not worried about it. If they wear out I'll get another of this same kind.To help with anyone wondering what size to get my daughter is 8yo and a size 4 in girls for regular shoes -- I got the 6 for her. They are just a tich too long but nothing that she thinks is a big deal. She has wider feet and she didn't say anything about them being too narrow and I didn't think they looked tight either. I went with the 6 based on foot length vs shoe length. The sizing guide says the 6 is 9" -- my daughter's foot measured at around 8". My other daughter just got new ones as well from a shoe store (yay me!) and the difference between her foot & the length of the shoe was about an inch. So, I figured a shoe an inch bigger than her foot would work -- and luckily it did! Hope this method helps someone! Buying shoes online can be dicey, although the free return offered definitely helps.All in all, I think they're a good purchase and I'll be back in a few months when she outgrows these.

Our teenage daughter was participating in a musical production through her school that had a tap routine in it. She's never tapped before. She wore these with somewhat thicker no-show black socks and she says she was very comfortable in them. We ordered her size based on the measuring guide and figured in the socks, too. She had no blisters or anything. The only problem she had, was that one of the taps came off of the heel. One of her instructors helped in gluing it back on. But we are very pleased, as they served their purpose and were very affordable.

Ordered my daughter these for her first year in tap. She wears anywhere from a ladies 6.5 to 7.5. I ordered her the 7 and they fit very well for length. They are slightly deep for her instep, but this allows her to wear socks and not just tights. They have held up remarkably well, the finish must be made out of magical shiny stuff, because my girl could scuff shoes made out of tanks but these show nearly no wear on top. SHe has been dancing in them for 4 months. The tops and soles are also in great condition, even though i catch her tapping outside because she likes the sound hey make on the cement in my driveway.

Usually I'm a 7 1/2 or 8 so I went with the 8 but it's definetly too big for me. I also realized that on the side of the shoe there's cut straight through the shoe. I have ordered a 7 and hope it will fit better since these are super cute and comfortable shoes and will definetly be returning this one.

These were for a beginning tap class, and they did what they needed to do. I wouldn't buy them for very regular use or perfect sound, but they are great to learn on and great for my daughter who grows out of them every 5 or 6 months!

these shoes would be fine if they fit. I usually were size 71/2 to 8 and i ordered a 71/2 and i probably need an 81/2. not really great quality but good enough for trying out tap and great price

Found out at last min. dance class was starting in a few days. No where near where I live sells tap shoes. The class is only 5 weeks so I didn't want to spend a lot. These shoes were priced just right, and they were new. Express shipping didn't cost more then the shoes like on most sites and they arrived a day early. I was very impressed with this transactions, I would order for this seller again.
