five stars because it is such a bargain and the quality of the paper is better than some other brands. I use a fountain pen and the ink does not bleed through to the extent it does in Meads so I can use both the front and back of the page thus doubling the space for writing.. the binding tape on the cover seems more firmly attached too. would buy again.

These are great. Got six of them as a gift for my spouse, who loves journaling in them.

My husband is a public school science teacher and kids frequently can't afford composition books, so I'm always looking for school supplies on sale for him to give to the kids (insert political statement here in support of funding schools). These were a pretty good price. Good quality for the kids to do their work.

The price was good when I bought these book with free shipping included. So buying this was a no-brainer. It is a standard size composition book with sewn pages as described. Can't go wrong.

I use these classic marble composition books for Everything imaginable. I like the 9-3/4" x 7-1/2" books, l00 pages, wide rule. The books made by Top Flight and Mead are so similar that I look for the "better price." Tape identifying labels on their spines and line them up on the shelf of a bookcase. Very handy. Spiral notebooks get all tangled up with each other; these don't. 5 stars to both the Mead books and the Top Flight books.

The description says that these have extra hard covers. Yet there is no difference between these composition books and the ones that sell for $0.50 at Target. (Being very clear: the covers are soft and floppy. This is not the hard cardboard or cardstock type.) This was a waste of the extra $15 or so and did not fulfill the requirements for our school's supplies list. I'd return, but for the cost of doing so.

These are for next school year my son has the smaller size he uses to do math and stuff on he loves them they seem to very very sturdy have used these many times!

As school books for elementary school they have a great look and have the correct dimensions and wide rule lines. great buy.

Really poor quality paper. Like really bad. I am throwing these out.

Nice construction quality, decent amount of pages, easy to write in, nice clear margins, excellent for children. Great for Roleplaying Games.
