TireTech On Wireless Tire Pressure Monitoring System w/ Brass Transmitters 0-232 psi (6)

Two trips so far, and they seem to work very well. I put these on, and had a terrible time trying to understand how to program them, but once I played with the system a little while, I got it, and it worked perfectly for the trips. First trip was from VA to AR, and it had one hiccup on the way home when it said it lost contact with a sensor, but after a few minutes, it regained contact, and everything was okay. Next trip was from VA to NC outer banks, and it worked just fine.After 2 blowouts when I went to CO, I decided I had better get a better system so I could monitor my tire pressure for the safety of my family and friends. This has been great, and puts my mind at ease while on the road. I highly recommend getting this system so you will know what is going on with your tires. Worth every penny.

I have had the unit for over a year now. It is not a good choice for an RV. Besides being complicated to program the unit has let me down a couple times now. Every time I use my RV I would give a quick scan of all 6 tire pressures. All indicated 75 psi + - 2psi. While stopped at a gas station I found one of my rear duals completely flat. I looked at the display and it indicated 75 psi at that location. I unscrewed the unit from the valve stem and it still indicated 75psi, while in my hand. Tapped the unit on the ground...0 psi. Ruined a 200 dollar tire. After changing the tire, I found the leak..it was the seal on the pressure sensor. The pressure sensor caused the leak, and left me to find it on my own..

I had a blowout on my trailer prior to this purchase, needless to say leading to this purchase. The blowout occurred at about 65 MPH and by the time I noticed the trailer swaying and the rubber flying out the back the damage was done. The blowout caused wheel well and body damage to the RV. With an alert I would have been able to stop sooner and avoid the damage that occurred. I purchased four new tires on arrival home and this TPM system. Easy to install and instant notification. The range is outstanding. When testing this out, the RV was parked in the back yard, and I was in my home office about 100 feet away with all sensors reporting in. The next camping trip was 10 hours each way and the sensors performed perfectly.

After checking the tires on our RV after the first stop of the season and finding out that one of the inside back tires was at 15 psi and the other inside back tire was at 25 psi I decided it was time to install some sort of tire monitoring system. I was really surprised at how easy it was to install. Quick note: make sure you do not screw the sending units onto the tires until you have the receiver ready or else it will not recognize the sending unit. I've been watching similar units like these go on sale at some of the major RV stores but none have come close to this price.

Worked fine for few months the stopped working. Replaced batteries and that was the end of Tire Tech TPM. Never worked after that. Contacted seller to see if we can work something but no luck. I was told I was outside the warranty and there was nothing they can do. They wanted for me to spend another $150 to buy 6 more sensors. I don't think so!!! Very easy to install and works great. I have this for 3 months now and still no problem. Shipping was great, I got it right away without a Prime membership.

Does the job, but be careful and double check if sensors work correctly. When I checked my tires during a trip, one tire was very low and a sensor still indicated correct pressure. I replaced the battery, reinstalled it on a different tire, and it seemed to work correctly.

I had issues with this unit. Two of the 6 sensors did not work and the ones that did had a spec of + - of 4 PSI range which I felt was too wide. Also I did not like the fact that the temp alert was not adjustable.
