Kenneth Cole Reaction Home Soft & Cozy Reversible Cotton Woven Blanket - King - White

I LOVE these blankets, I ordered 3 and another as a gift. They are so soft and I love the feel and the look/texture. The color is perfect, ivory on one side and a darker neutral shade on the other. These are extremely thin and lightweight but much warmer than I expected them to be. It is still summer, I am in the south, and also getting to "that age....." so that could be why I feel they are warmer than expected. The first wash/dry cycle produced a ton on lint in the washer and dryer so be prepared to clean out the trap a few times during the first cycle. I ordered a queen, washed in cold - - as cold as cold gets in the summer in the south - - and dried on high heat. The blanket did not shrink at all that I noticed as it fits my queen bed fine (my mattress is about 10" high) and it covers my mattress only, just to the edge of the bed base/box spring as it should. that would mean after a wash/dry it measures 80-82" in width for the queen. (60w" + 10h" + 10h") One of the blankets I ordered had a manufacturing defect that I noticed as soon as I opened the package. I took a picture of the "knot" , emailed them, and the item was quickly replaced by the seller. They have excellent customer service and have followed up with me about the replacement. I am not sure why some people have the opinion that you should order the King if you have a queen...unless they have a 20" high mattress...… I suppose if you do order the king and you have a queen, if it does not shrink enough, you may have enough fabric left over to make 2 standard pillowcases to match, assuming you are interested in sewing....or you could just tick the extra under the mattress :)What I have noticed with this blanket is that it is prone to pilling. You need to use a detergent that has cellulase (an enzyme) in it. The few detergents that I know that has this are persil, puracy, tide studio darks, and Oxiclean Dark Protect additive. I use the oxiclean additive which is also a stain remover as well and dissolves in cold water easily. cheap too.

The blanket is awesome, it has a two tone effect. It is oversized until you wash it. It does shrink, but I've not noticed pulls or picks in it. It feels like quality, but if you're looking for a hotel/hospital type of blanket for under your duvet, this is more for summer, as it is lightweight. Hope this has been helpful.

The blanket is fine, just a lighter weight than I was expecting. I'm using it in our guest bedroom, so have no data whether it's warm enough. I'm sure it will be fine, as were coming into the spring season. Thank you.
