Having been fed-up with the quality of most can-openers, I decided to try something different - but not with any great hope.In fact, this little gadget is really good. It cuts through the top/side seam of the can with almost no effort. The edges it leaves are pretty much smooth and even, with no sharp edges or distortion. The top of the can is left usable and can sit on top of the can as a lid (though obviously not sealed or fixed). Very impressed.I have not used the gadget to open bottles or jars so I cannot comment about that. I also haven't used it enough to comment on durability, but it appears solid and well constructed.Update 25/11/2018 This also removes crown corks and breaks the vacuum seal on jars very easily.

I had already purchased this tin opener and am so pleased with it I have now bought a second to have as a spare. All the family like it, it is the best opener we have had in a long time. I am left handed other family members are right but with either hand it works. So much easier to take the lid off a tin and a lot safer. Would recommend this item.

The product does work, just takes a bit of getting used to and takes a few turns to remove lids.

So easy to use, my partner is left handed and was always complaining about the can opener so this is ideal as it suits us both. As other people have said it takes a little while to get used to but it's brilliant. So easy I have bought one for my mom and nan too :)

Really love this. Small, so does not take up too much room in the kitchen drawer. Works well to release jar covers and easy can opening.

Perfect for left handed users - so smooth I initially thought it wasn't working until the lid of the can just came off.Also arrived on time as promised

Not very good on 16oz tins but works well on larger ones . It could be I have not got the hang of it on the smaller cans
