Great for smash cake!
I used this to make a smash cake for my son's first birthday. It took a few tries to get it right. The first attempt, I put the entire box of mix in. It made a huge mess. It over flowed everywhere. After an hour, it still wasn't close to being cooked. The second attempt, I put half of a box of mix into it. I baked if at 325 for 45 minutes. The center completely caved in. It had a weird hole in the center. The second half of the box did the same thing. I was able to cut the top off each one to make a shorter layer for a two layer cake. The third attempt I used a flower nail at the bottom of the pan. I used half the box, 325 degrees for 45 minutes, and it came out perfect! The top had a nice dome on it, no flat spots, he edges weren't burnt. I made two into a layer cake. With this I used the Wilton's Cake Release so I wouldn't have to grease for flour the pan. It worked great! The flower nail was also Wilton's.

Great Pans
I bought these pans because full size, 2 layer cakes are too much for my wife and I to eat (actually, we could eat them but are trying to cut back). So I split the batter between 2 of these pans. I followed directions from Wilton's web site for how long and what temperature to cook. The recommended time was WAY off - by like 40 minutes. These took a long time to bake, but I'm assuming it's due to the nature of the type of cake. I kept testing the batter and adding time until the toothpick came out clean. The quality of the cake was excellent. It came out of the pans with no problem (I always use Baker's Joy and parchment on the bottom). We froze one cake and cut the other in half to make it a 2 layer mini cake. It was a great size, and I'm glad I bought the pans. I feel these are much higher quality than my Cuisinart or even Wilton pans. I would definitely purchase again and recommend to others.

I don't use mine for baking Part 2
I got them. a 5x2 & 6x3 I use them 3 to 5 times a week. And they are the best.I use them in my pressure cooker, a pot in a pot, sort of a bain 'marie. Set it on a trivet, a couple cups of water, and you're ready to make a pudding, cake, meatloaf, what ever. Nothing sticks. No burning. Excellent results. With the steam, I expected something like rust or encrusted food on the rim, but nothing so far. My stuffing doesn't burn and meatloaf crisps on the bottomI got the 5x2 for smaller efforts and it's performance is the same.Delivered on time. Packaging was excellent. I'm happy and will buy more.

Japanese Cheesecake Success in Pan
My jiggly Japanese cheesecake was finally a success using this pan! My springform pan simply could not keep water out no matter how many layers of aluminum foil I wrapped around it. This is also the perfect size for a cheesecake, not too big or else I'd end up eating it all :)

I haven’t try it yet...
I received these cake pan and hope to use it soon. It came with the edges around a little bended. And on the inside around the top, you can see the marks of the machine. Time will tell I was expecting to be more quality rather than “mass production”.

Great pan, tricky baking
I picked this pan up with a pair of 8" pans at the same time. This size pan is very tricky to get the cooking time so that cakes don't burn or dry out. I'm still figuring out the timing. Not a failure of the pan, probably just a quirk of the 6" size. The pan itself is solid and heavy in a way that says your grandmother would have had this pan and would have handed it down through the generations. Using a flour spray allows for any items to release easily and makes cleanup super easy.

Love it
This is a great product. I love homemade baked goods and I like to give them as gifts...and i like "easy." This little pan makes me look like I know what I'm doing. The cakes brown nicely and release easily with parchment lining the bottom. Easy to clean and I love the size. More substantial than a cupcake...enough for 3-4 people to have a good sized piece of cake.
