I LOVE LOVE LOVE this line of eye make up! It really does last 24 hours!This color is NOT black. It's a dark gun metal grey - it has a sheen to it. I love it! I was expecting black, but I like this SO much better!To apply it I bought a professional, slanted eye brush. I get some on the brush and apply it in small dashes across both top and bottom as close to the lashes as possible. If I make a mistake, I can wipe it off right away and re-do it. After it sets, it doesn't wipe off. I have full on 'allergy-wiped' my eyes with this on and it did not smear or come off onto my hand at all. I've also 'allergy teared' and dabbed lightly with a tissue and it didn't come off.It lasts well over a day. I left it on to see how long it would last and I still saw it through to 48 hours - it did get more faint, though.It washes off easily with soap and water. I use a face cleanser in the shower and I never have to re-do around my eyes afterwards.I'm very, very pleased with this eye make up :D

I have purchased these eye shadows in diferent colors at other stores and I love how easy to apply and silky they feel.I was looking for more colors and found this at Amazon.I was excited to receive my order to try this new color but the product is so old and dry that it even ”shrank”. (There is a gap between the contents and the container).The product is hard to apply since is too dry. Useless!!

Maybelline Color Tattoo eye shadows come in a substantial glass pot and are creamy to apply while not being TOO creamy on the skin (i.e., unlike much older cream eye shadows that went on creamy but creased badly). One of the things I love about these shadows is that you can go as demure or as bold as you wish. Most of the print and TV ads for this product show the colors to be SUPER dark and bold, but they don't have to be. Put on a small to moderate amount and you can have a nice daytime look. Put on a lot and you have a much more dramatic and heavy nighttime look.This is the third color of this shadow that I've tried (the others are Bad to the Bronze and Pomegranate Punk). This Audacious Asphalt is a nice basic gray, dark enough to create drama but not so black that you can wear it for daytime. It is not as sparkly as some of the shadows in this line, which I like.I have very sensitive skin, especially on my eyelids, and a LOT of drugstore makeup causes redness, itching or burning. These Color Tattoo shadows do cause a little bit of itchiness if I wear them all day, but it is not bad enough to make me want to run and wash it off and it causes my skin no irritation once I've removed the shadow.Speaking of removing the shadow, these are perhaps more stubborn to remove than powder shadows, but it is definitely doable. I use a makeup remover pad (Visine) and it make take 2 or 3 swipes but it does come off.The shadow has great staying power and I have not noticed any creasing, even without wearing primer. Today, I had on a combination of regular powder shadow and this cream shadow. I got caught in the sleet/rain a couple times and when I got home, the powder shadow was GONE...like I'd never applied it...but the Maybelline Color Tattoo cream shadow was still going strong! YEA!

This product isn't worth buying. The stick with the color falls out of the applicator. It looks patchy and dried out quickly. I suggest thhe Elf eyeshadow sticks over this product.

I purchased one from Wet & Wild that was awful. Could not see the product on the water line and threw it out. I tried this hoping for better results and its great. Nice nude and shimmery color and brightens the eye, just what I was looking for.

the product itself is nice BUT it is defective, i have 2 of these and they both broke at the base so the crayon part is loose and keeps falling out of the cylinder and moves around. Terrible design; get the Nyx jumbo pencils instead.

This cream eyeshadow is amazing. I bought this after returning a $24 one that was terrible! It literally dried as I tried to apply it and made my eyelids wrinkle up as it dried. This one goes on smoothly, allows enough time to fully apply it how you want before drying, and doesn't wrinkle my eyelids. The color is highly pigmented so you don't have to build it much if you wear a good primer underneath. I highly recommend this and will not spend more for higher end yet poor quality eyeshadow ever again!

There are several issues I want to address:1. If you are dumb like me and this think this is matte, it is not.2. The actual amount of product is quite small.3. It arrived being hard as a rock inside, no creamy texture, nothing. And because it's not supposed to be dry, it's almost impossible to get it on any sponge or brush.
