Would this work for covering marks on polished chrome taps?

It might help disguise the damage a bit but it won’t have the same mirrored finish. Think of it as having a reflective matt finish rather than the shiny chrome of your taps

Can this be used on (new) pvc shoes?

i would imagine is will crack as soon as you start walking might be better using leather paint as that does not crack so much. but i hace not tried on shoes
