Works really well and I like not having to use a lot of the RV antifreeze for winterizing. I just put a little down each drain (for the p-traps) after I have used this blowout plug to clear the lines throughout the coach. Be sure not to use more that about 50 psi on your air compressor so you don't damage your pipes.

Though most of the time you think of clearing water lines in a RV or garden hoses for the Winter, this valve is a life saver when your AC lines get clogged with silt and the normal muck that comes out of Air Conditioners in your house. Most AC Repair companies will charge $100+ just to clear out drain lines when they get plugged. I found out by putting this on a 3/4" PVC fitting and putting it into the vertical PVC pipe near your AC unit inside the house (don't forget to CLOSE the valves coming FROM the unit or you will blow the junk BACK INTO your AC!), and using a small compressor, not putting much more than 10PSI pressure through it, this will do the trick! There are very small compressors frequently sold with portable battery jumping units that are perfect for this job. The value is solid brass and will last a lifetime.

Popped this onto the city water and anti-freeze ports on the trailer, opened faucets, shower and low point drain plugs. Applied 35# from the little pancake compressor and watched the water blow out. Super easy schrader valve connection point meant I didn't even have to put an accessory onto the compressor hose. 10 minutes of work and a helper to open each valve and faucet and we are ready for winter. I will add a little antifreeze just to double protect the pump, sink valves and trap but it's probably overkill. Better safe than sorry. Easy to recommend this little dude.

Works well, apparently the 2021 TAB 320 camper has a deep enough valve on the City water port that the threads on this blowout plug wouldn't reach the rubber seal inside. Adding a regular nylon/rubber hose washer inside the port gave it something to seal against. I didn't see a need to remove the hose washer after since it's made for the inside of water fittings and doesn't interfere with anything else.

This item works for winterizing your rv. When stem wears out you can replace it with a vehicle tire valve stem

I use this fitting to blow out the water line on my RV. It works as advertised. It is very simple construction and seems sturdy. I would expect it to last a long time.
