Very nice kit, part of the install can be tricky and may require special tools
Overall this is a very nice kit. High quality parts, sharp looking contemporary take on classic barn door hardware. The instructions are ok for the most part except that they say that the pole is pre drilled every 16” and that’s not true, no holes are pre-drilled in the poll and none are needed. The wall mounts can be moved to be mounted anywhere on the poll (which is a good thing but is contrary to what the instructions say). The instructions also say you need to use a headboard but I didn’t use one and it came out great IMO. The only other “complaint” I have is that in order to use the included floor guide you need route a slot into the bottom of the door, and a router is not something most people have just sitting around the house. I used my circle saw to do it but it was not easy and pretty dangerous. For my install I got lucky that there was a wood stud in wall right where I needed it on one side so my pole goes into the wall through a wood studd which holds the weight of the door without a problem. The other side of the poll I was able to mount to the wall where my studs happen to be rather than having to use dry wall ankers whcih came with the kit that I seriously doubt would hold the weight of the door.I also purchased the SmartStandard door handle set which is also very nice. On a whole most of the install was easy except the floor guide which requires a hammer drill and masonry screws to mount to a ceramic tile over concrete floor and to rout a slot in the bottom of the door. The door slides very smoothly. In addition to the provided floor guide I also purchased a floor guide with a wheel to keep the door close to the wall when it is open and it also worked very nicely.

Sliding mirror
Quality heavy materials. Looks clean and fits tight against wall. The wall mounts can be positioned anywhere a stud is available which is key. I used this to hang a large mirror in front of an exterior window, as it was my only option during a bathroom expansion. Worked great as I used the window frame to help level and hold things in place. The bottom guide that came with it was inadequate so I purchased a different one.

Smooth action, easy installation
I bought two of these; one for a narrow linen closet door in the bathroom, and one for the door to master bathroom. This item is very well made and easy to install. The design allows plenty of leeway to have the door edge fall where you want it, and the mechanism operates very smoothly. I replaced a bothersome, picky pocket door to the bathroom with one of these. It's a dramatic improvement, and I love the style. I mounted a simple hollow core interior door on it and it works great. I also like that the door can be very close to the door frame, allowing maximum privacy. It's not totally sealed shut like a pocket or hinged door, but depending on the door frame, it can be a very close fit. Don't be afraid to get a wider door than "necessary" to maximize privacy as well. I used a 32 inch wide door for a 26 inch wide opening.

Nice quality, good looking product
Generally, I am pleased with this top-mount barn-door mounting system. I am not an expert carpenter and it took me some time to get everything adjusted but in the end, it turned out well. I made good use of the shims as shown in Fig 1 to move the brackets away from the wall the correct amount to have the door hang as close to the door frame, without touching it, as possible. The door moves smoothly and looks good. It was good value for the money. I did not give it a 5-start rating for the following reasons. 1. I was unimpressed with the responsiveness of the customer support via email. They did reply but it took awhile and the answers were slim. 2. An important part are the rollers as shown in Fig. 2. They are screwed to the brackets. The instructions do not say to check the tightness of the screw before installation. I did not. During the installation I took the door on and off the track a few times and noticed that it seemed to be gradually hanging lower and changing position. That was because, as I discovered, the screws were loose and continued to loosen further. If I had mounted the door in that way eventually it would have dragged on the floor or fallen off. I removed the screws altogether, and reattached them using Loctite. 3. The description on Amazon mentions “anti-jumpers.” I could not find them, or figure out what they were. When I asked a question, I was told they are the part identified in Fig 3. As far as I can tell they serve no function. Yes, when they happen to be located beneath a bracket you can not lift the door off the track, but most times they are simply located beneath a run of the track and do not effect at all the ability for the door to lift and come of the track. That being said, I do not anticipate this being a problem.By the way, for the neatest installation you will want to cut a kerf in the bottom of the door to properly locate the floor guide. The ideal tool for that is a router. Not having one, I purchase an attachment to do it with my Dremel tool. But it turned out that for my door installation the easiest thing to do was purchase a door that was 3” shorter than I needed and then pay a local lumber yard to custom cut a 3” extension and to put the kerf on it. Then it was easy to peg and glue the extension on the bottom of the door with its professionally cut kerf.

What a nice product!
This is for a unique application and I was able to modify the two systems I bought into one continuous rail for two separate doors both opening left with a wall between the closet and bathroom. The rollers are so quiet and sturdy. Very happy with these. (Suggestion: If you don't already have a high-quality stud finder I would highly recommend buying one for this installation. Putting the supports "on studs" became so simple and made the whole installation go so easily.)
