Defiantly worth having this and not having a burn
Defiantly worth having this and not having a burn. Not only does this pot holder fit our cast iron skillet perfectly it has the added bonus of being made of silicone. Since it's made of silicone it does not matter if your hands are wet or damp when you grab it because you are still protected from the heat. Also, since it slides over the handle on the skillet it can stay put the entire time you are cooking. No more searching for a pot holder (that if it gets damp will transfer the heat directly to you) and no more accidentally not covering the entire handle and burning a finger that found the spot not covered. works fine
Initially i was going to send this back because it was too big and too loose for my cast iron pan but i put it on my cast iron skillet and it fit perfectly, like it was made for that so im happy now with my purchase.

NOT a Premium Hot Handle Holder
This handle holder does not prevent you fro almost getting burnt trying to hold a cast iron skillet. I would not recommend this holder for cast iron skillets
