Boots: 5 StarsLights: 1 StarThese boots are great and my dog loves them. He gets unlimited adorable comments. They're waterproof and help him with allergies and from making his pads raw. He's had them 6 months now and wears them proudly all the time. The boots themselves have held up well and I'm very happy with them and so is he. He doesn't even try to take them off and in a test he wore them for 2 days without paw licking or removing them. They're also pretty adorable. See pics.These frankly don't need lights. Adding them was dumb and just jacked up the price. Also, lights execution is piss poor. You can't replace the batteries so the lights will inevitably die. As if that wasn't enough, their placement on the boots means that the light compartment will wear down over time. Within 2 wears (we do 2 miles a day) 2 had holes in the light compartment. I repaired them with E-6000, but I shouldn't have to. Within a few months they started to go out now only one boot lights up and it's been all of 6 months. It would be just as effective to add EL wire or blinking lights with replaceable battery and on/off switch to the top of the boot. Doing so would eliminate all the negative things about this boot.The LA lights effect was cute for like 2 days, but we mainly walk in the day and you can't turn it off. We also get endless compliments on them even when the lights don't work.Tip for Wearing: you need to pull the boot all the way on, then Velcro as tight as you can or they will slip off over time. The cord to tighten is garbage and unhelpful.

I purchased these for my dog Stoli for the winter time and maybe an occasional hike. She is a 64 pit/lab mix who loves going out and playing in the snow, however she does have an issue with her feet getting too cold. She holds them up in the air like she can't walk and just looks at you. So I tried these out. After wearing them a few times she did pretty well with them. At first she wouldn't walk anywhere! The front ones fit very well, however the back ones tend to slide off after a while, even with the velcro tight. I think it would be better if you could just purchase two front ones and two back ones instead of four at a time, especially since their back feet are so different from the front.

I love Kurgo products. I have their harness which is second to none. So I didn't hesitate to buy these boots. I trust they will last the rest of my dog's life.However, the "step and strobe" is a waste of time and money.With in three wears, one boot had already stopped lighting up. Since I got these boots on Jan 23rd (Feb 13th as of this writing) three of the four boots have gone out completely.Kurgo stepped up to replace the boots for free but I have zero confidence they will last any longer.I give Kurgo five stars as a company. But they went too far by adding these lights to the boots. The are completely unnecessary and, while cute, do not last long at all. And my dog doesn't wear them everyday, just when there's snow, ice, and salt outside. So he's only worn them a handful of times and three boots no longer light up.That's really disappointing considering how well their products are made over all. Don't waste your money and just get the standard boots.

There is a video review of these on youtube. The reviewer says the sizing chart is off. And it is. But not like she says. She masured the top of the dogs foot, arcing over the top. Don't measure that way. Measure the bottom of the paw. So, my dog needed the Large like the chart said, and technically they fit, but I think they were too small/short.They don't go high enough up the leg so they slip off easily.My dog was also very uneasy and uncomfortable in them. He couldn't walk at all at first. We took him immediately outside because he loves fetch. We though he would forget about the shoes and just run. After a few throws he was running better but not like normal and the shoes kept falling off.He has arthritis. We thought shoes with some padding would help take some stress off his hips and knees. It just stressed him out even more as he was walking and running in a very exaggerated manor to account for the shoes. After playing in the shoes he was in the worst shape I've ever seen him. I had to help him up from a laying position. He was clearly very sore from the awkward shoes.The dog on the box isn't even wearing them. They're photoshopped on.They're not terrible. I'm sure some people will love them. To be fair they seem like they're much more well made than most dog shoes I've seen. But I can't recommend them.

We have bought several pairs of these shoes for our German Shepherd. From birth he has dragged his back feet which make his pads bleed. He expects to go on walks everyday. And knows that he has to have his shoes on. Never has he refused to wear them. He goes through the set of back shoes every six weeks. These shoes are a life saver for him. He gets a lot of compliments on his fancy shoes and is a hit where ever he goes. We will continue to buy these as the quality and fit are great. I’d recommend them to everyone.

There were mixed reviews on this particular boots in general, But I decided to take a chance and purchase this. They seem very well made. Very thick. Doesn’t seem as flexible as other dog boots but I’m assuming it’s because of the strobes on the sides & battery section (which you do not have access to) on the bottom sole. These run big. Perfect for bigger medium paw sized to large paw sized dogs. Unfortunately these were huge on my dog even though I measured hoping it would have given him a bit of wiggle room when his paws expand when standing. But these were just too big which my dog looked like he had clown feet & boots being too big on dogs is dangerous & uncomfortable when they trek in them as their paws move around in them. So I had them returned & still on the hunt for the pawfect boots for my dog.

They light up with every step which is a bit random for daytime use. But very good quality and sizes are big like you would expect. Some boots you order a large and it’s more like a small medium

Compre las botitas por qué cuando salgo a correr con mi perrito el pavimento aveces lo lastima de los cojines y me pareció buena idea ponerle botitas pero ya pasado el proceso de que se acostumbra a usarlos, se le bajan de las patitas y se tropieza cuando hacemos un recorrido caminando así que tengo que estar subiéndole las botitas por que se le salen aún cuando lo aprieto muy fuerte (si le quedan de tamaño seguí las instrucciones de medida); los leds dejaron de funcionar al primer intento, por se rompieron donde van los cables o la batería, creo que no son para todos los perritos después de todo.

El diseño es muy bonito y están elaborados con buenos materiales. La imagen representa exactamente el producto. El único problema es que el precio es alto pero si aprovechas una oferta vale la pena.

I really like the shoes, however all the lights that are meant to help see my dog and the direction he is moving at night all wore out in under two weeks and no longer work. This is very disappointing. Because I like the shoes for my dog I’m going to continue using them but I’m nervous that these shoes will develop other issues soon.

Al principio mi Pitbull no se adaptaba y creí que no iban a funcionar. Caminando con ella y ajustándolas correctamente todo salió perfecto.Me encantan! Le protegen mucho, se adapto muy rápido y camina y corre y brinca escaleras como si nada. Se secan muy rápido.El único detalle es que sería bueno un instructivo ya que tuve que aprender a colocarlas por prueba y error.
