Second month in, so far so good
I got these as we have a work requirement for safety toe shoes on those uncommon occasions where I head into the warehouse. I'm usually at my desk doing any number of tasks, so I opted for a lightweight alloy toe shoe-- I figure it's like a foam bike helmet. I still have a pair of leather Keen shoes I bought about 10 years ago, so I figured I would give these a shot. The feel is secure, with a bit of roominess in the toe box. I appreciate shoes that don't squish my toes together, because otherwise I get blistered toes. At the same time it doesn't feel like I'm sliding around in the shoes, they feel secure and comfy. I tend to get arch fatigue after long walks (like at trade shows and conventions), and I don't feel the insoles being particularly supportive there, but I don't plan on going to conventions with these. These claim to be rated for ESD, but I don't have an environment designed to take advantage of that feature, and I still get static zaps unless I'm hooked up to an ESD strap. Maybe if I set up a workstation complete with ESD dissipating floor I'll see how effective these shoes are.One thing I wish was better is breathability. The interior turns into a sauna rather easily, compelling me to pull the shoes off and air them out at least once a day. This might be a thing with safety toe work shoes, but it was a bit of a bummer.

Nice shoes, they almost work for what I bought them for.
As shoes I am happy with these. However, they fail the one thing I really bought these for.I needed anti-static shoes to wear at work. I have tested these several times and each time they fail the test with too high resistance. I have to wear heel straps to pass the test at work. I bought these so that I would not have to wear heel straps. I am disappointed.

I needed a shoe thats not only confortable but ESD safe consistently.
Size 11 seems close to a size 10.5 and I have feet problems so I won't judge its comfortability. Its a bit heavy but its expected for safety shoes. It definitely isn't overly heavy. MY issue was with the ESD part. I have to pass an ESD test twice a day at work and I notice these shoes don't have a lot of ESD contact with the ground (around 75% but I need more) and I often would fail an ESD test even with dry shoes.

Night and day difference !
I was a little hesitant when I choose these because I have a heel problem in one of my feet and it doesn't matter what brand or style of shoe I would get , I would get off work from working 8 hours on hard concrete for a hospital shipping and receiving department standing and tons of walking and get home I and could barely sometimes put any kind of pressure on my foot , I put these on with that new keen re-gen cushioning in the shoe and it's like night and day , heel pain is pretty much gone I can walk with out a slight limp and the grip is amazing ! I get home now and I'm not in excruciating pain where as before I didnt want to get out of my chair , I WILL BE GETTING ANOTHER PAIR !! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE KEEN SHOES/BOOTS WITH THE REGEN COUSHIONING!!!!

Shoe meets every need but, lacks waterproofing.
I was looking for a new work shoewith steel toe and waterproofing. I wanted an all purpose shoe because I do a lot of walking and driving. I really like Keen's design, went ahead and bought it even though it lacked a waterproof feature. The shoe has a steel toe feature which is actually light and comfortable. The lack of waterproofing is a bummer... But, its not a deal breaker for these shoes. It does Handel some water but I wouldn't go into deep puddles. The shoes make alot of noise when walking on flat surfaces ( shiny floors, office tiles). It sounds like you just came out from the rain ( still not a deal breaker for me).Overall, I really like the shoes! So nice and comfy and don't regret buying them. So if you want a unique shoe with protection, get this one. But don't step in to big puddles.

Terrific Lightweight Safety Shoe
Decided to try pair of Keen safety shoes, knowing the Keen brand well from sandals, sneakers and hiking shoes, and was not disappointed. The typically roomy toe box make this very comfortable for a safety shoe. Good support, and no fatigue after 8 hours on my feet in a warehouse. I’m in my 60’s, have had other brands before (most notably Timberland), these are by far the most comfortable. I’m also not a fan of boot style, so the low cut of these suit me well (and for you warehouse fashionistas, look good with shorts)!

All day comfort, light, breathable, safety toe shoes.
I've been wearing Keen work boots and shoes for 8 years now. I've always cycled between the Detroit low and mid for different seasons, but I wanted something a bit more light and airy for the hot summer where my shop typically hits 90-95 by 3pm. Ugh.Out of the box, they fit and feel pretty much like comfy yet sturdy tennis shoes, like new balances. Obviously they weigh a touch more than regular shoes, but not much. Thankfully I haven't REALLY tested the safety toe on these shoes, however I'm assuming they're just as safe as the ones in the Detroit boots which I tested with having a 280lb engine drop from a faulty cherry picker right onto my foot several years back. Ever since that day, I don't risk regular shoes in the shop. The lace holes look to be reliable, possibly even reinforced which was a gripe I had with the Detroit low shoes and their loops that eventually tear. The included laces are a bit dynamic and stay tight without double knotting which is nice. The mesh outer collects dirt like a magnet, but they blow clean with an air gun easily enough.I like these shoes enough and they're comfortable enough where I wear them outside of work plenty. Big part of the reason I stick with Keens that last 2 years instead of something like Redwing that might last longer at the expense of comfort.

Comfort, Durability, Style... Awesome shoe
These are hands down the best shoes I’ve purchased. Usually get the hiking version but last year got a casual pair of Keen and loved them. They were flat bottom and wore down quickly, but THE SPARTAN shoe is freaking perfect. The shape fits around my foot perfectly, extremely sturdy walls but not stiff enough to become uncomfortable. Can’t wait to wear them to work Monday!!!!!!!!! (involves miles of walking in warehouse on solid concrete)Honestly have been telling my old lady I will be wearing them to bed from now on!! Lol
