Great Anti-Chafe Cream!
As an avid cyclist, this anti-chafe cream has saved me from lots of discomfort. I use it on every ride and it makes a huge difference. It works great and is easy to apply. It doesn't leave a greasy film on your hands and washes off quickly with water. It also doesn't leave and marks or stains on your clothing (shorts or bibs). I rinse out my bibs after each use and any residue cream washes off with water. For me the 8oz jar lasts 4-5 months of almost daily use and is well priced. I like the Eurostyle because it does give a slight soothing/cooling effect when you initially put it on. Highly recommended especially if you are having any saddle discomfort at all.

Works for me
This summer, I have been riding in a mileage challenge contest, which entailed a lot of consecutive days riding 75-90 miles in Florida heat. After a few weeks of this, I started developing a rash and a couple of "saddle sores" where I sit on the bike seat. Too many miles in too much heat. I was using good chamois bib shorts but also wearing underwear with them. It eventually became too painful to even get on the bike to ride. I stopped riding and attacked the rash with hydro-cortisone and Desonide for a couple of weeks until it began to go away. I also bought a Brooks Swift saddle, to replace the foam-rubber supported saddle I had used for 2 years without any previous problems. The breaking-in process for the Brooks is not without its own issues until the leather cover accommodates itself to the shape of your bottom and sit-bones.At this point, I ordered a large jar of this Chamois Butt'r to give it a try. I stopped using the underwear and applied a generous layer of this cream to the sitting zone of my posterior (none on the chamois itself). Although it feels like you have sat in a can of Crisco when you initially sit down, the cream seems to help a lot in preventing skin chafing and irritation and produces a cooling sensation when first applied. I am now back to being able to ride longer distances; an 87 mile ride last week with only minimal discomfort towards the end, mostly due to the Brooks not being fully broken in yet I think; no chafing or skin damage at all, just a little soreness after about 60 miles from sitting on the same tiny spot for multiple hours on a very firm saddle on rough roads. The cream has very little fragrance and washes off your hands easily and out of the chamois without leaving any oily stains. At the rate I am using it, this jar should last a long time, which is good, because I intend to use it generously every time I ride. I am now back to being able to do the longer rides I like to do, even in hot and humid Florida. Recommended, without reservations.

It's not Assos, but it's close
Let's get this out of the way: Nothing is as good as Assos and you pay for that distinction. With that said, this is in my opinion, a respectable option to Assos. It's nearly as thick as Assos, has nearly as much staying power, is Euro style for those who like a cooling sensation, but it's several dollars cheaper. For me, I use Assos for anything over 60 miles and this for anything under. So, basically, this during the week, and Assos on the weekend.Couple of important things to note:1. As mentioned above, this is of course Euro style cream, so it does have a cooling sensation but it's probably the most mild of all the Euro style creams I have owned.2. This style of Chamois Butt'r is substantially less greasy than the standard cream. I have no clue why that is, but it's a fact.3. This cream is thick and definitely has staying power but it's not thick in say a Bag Balm sort of way, it's thick in a, yes, Assos sort of way.4. It washes out very well, even if you hand wash your shorts like me.Overall, again, this is the second best cream money can buy, just behind Assos. Sure, there are some other options out there, namely a brand that for some reason, Amazon won't allow me to spell( think Dave Zabriskie ) and also Mad Alchemy, but you're going to pay more for both of those. Basically, this is the best bang for your buck in the chamois cream game.

Excellent product!
I am a devoted cyclist, in my late 70’s, and have used various chamois lubes over the years. I like this one the best and will continue using it. Without getting into detail, it does away with all pinching, chafing, etc. from riding the saddle! Good value, modest cost for the 30-40 rides one jar is good for.

Butt Saver
This is second to ASSOS at a fair asking price.
