Atomic wall clock
Looks and works wonderfully. Love that it is atomic & keeps perfect time. No resetting needed when time changes from standard to daylight savings time.

It's a great clock! So glad I bought this one. It looks so good in my kitchen and works perfectly.
This is a great little clock! I had to replace one that I knocked off the wall while cleaning. I have it in the kitchen and it looks so nice. It is very quiet as you don't hear any ticking noise. The size is perfect for any size kitchen and goes with any decor. The one I had ordered prior stated you had to wait 3-7 days for it to anatomically correct the time? I needed a clock for now!

Accurate, nice looking
I like the clean modern style of this clock, with a ten inch diameter it's a bit small for mounting on a large wall but for my application in a little room and smaller wall in a nook it fit perfectly. The clock functions as reliably as most of quartz movement type battery clocks with the added feature of receiving the WWVB atomic clock signal out of Ft. Collins, CO. making it accurate to within a second every 300 million years. The set up was easy, even though it has an incrementally advancing second hand the clock is silent enough running that I can not hear it within 3 ft which is nice for my bedroom location, the clock is not mounted on an exterior wall or close to a window but still received the WWVB signal within 2 hours of setting up. The knowledge that this clock is synced to WWVB appeals to my sense of science and history of striving for accurate time keeping..... knowing that the clock is associated with the same technology that helps navigate the ships at sea and satellites in space is pleasantly satisfying.

Cool automatic clock
Really like this clock. After it arrived yesterday I put a battery in it. set the switches to Eastern time zone and daylight savings and let it search for the WWVB signal. It did not find the signal. so I set it manually to be 1 minute faster than my Casio Waveceptor wrist watch (which synchronizes to WWVB and is in agreement with my cell phone and with the cable box to the second). Apparently, the clock found the time signal last night because when I checked it today it now agrees with my wrist watch to the second. I think that's really good for the price (and really cool!).

I had to reset for it to find "Atomic" time
Other larger, longer lasting LT Atomic clock is cheaperThis is a "Type B" "Atomic" La Crosse Tech clock. Atomic simply means it has a Radio Frequency reciever to read US national clocks, specifically the NIST transmitter in Fort Collins, Colorado. This is no big deal considering watches have included this for many decades. BUT, I mistakenly bought a LT clock without it (didn't think it was possible). Try to pay better attention than I did. Type B is but a La Crosse Tech term. Some LT Clocks have room for extra batteries greatly extending the time between replacements - this clock does NOT include this feature. I don't know why. Again, you need to pay close attention, better than I. There is no cover on the back. This is not like past LT clocks. Another deficiency that I don't get. Use the switches on the bottom (back) to set for Time Zone. In Arizona, it's M (for Mountain Time) and DST Off.The clock is made for a single AA alkaline battery. I'm a Boomer. So, I think digital clocks are "cool" but prefer analog clocks to "feel" the time. It also means I buy alkaline batteries in bulk at Costco or here at Amazon, but I am slowing switching to Lithium (skip Duracell Optimum). You need to look at the mAh number, bigger is better. As soon as you put the battery in, the clock jumps to noon. Leave it alone for 8 minutes and it'll confirm consistency of the Fort Collins NIST clock and set itself. If it's placed, say, against a wall with a large TV on the opposing wall facing Colorado, you may need to set it manually (which is frustratingly slow). Or, you may want to instead get "UltrAtomic" LT clocks using the phase modulated easier to read Colorado signal (which uses up to four C batteries for six years of uninterrupted use - but at more than twice the price). For more info, see youtu(dot)be/cAHRk_R0F94 for setup instructions (at 5:12 for this clock). That clock does tick (like my Salton analog clock), unlike this clock, if that matters to you.I own three LT clocks. The first was a weather clock with an external sensor. Alas, a couple of the LED bars failed after decades. The next one lacked the AT clock so I bought this one. Bottom line: they are the best buy, but you need to be careful to know what you are buying (better than I). It can take 5 hours to sync to the RF "Atomic" time signal. It took over a month for me to "reset" the clock. Unfortunately, there is no way to search for and find the La Crosse Tech clocks that include dual backup batteries. A larger, 12-inch, Atomic LT clock with that (WT-3129S) COSTS LESS (due to being discontinued?)!!! Often a second off.
