Useless - Garbage APP - and YOU pay for the return! ...They also rip you off!
As expected, you need the APP to utilize the function of getting the video on your phone, however, the APP is crap. I have an Android phone (Samsung), and it is at the supported level (minimum ver.5 - I have 7), and creating a login on the APP fails to log you in....it reports: "...Connecting the server...", and fails to allow a login. I've attempted multiple times uninstalling, reinstalling, creating new IDs and passwords, but get the same result. It never lets you in. In addition, the instructions provided with the device, do not match the device's behavior...at all. In fact, nothing matches (it's also a lot larger than I expected it to be). I've requested a refund, and what I get in response is..." Please try to follow the instructions again...". What good are the instructions if you can't get beyond step one? The APP is lousy. I would avoid this device. I also question the integrity of the other positive reviews, so beware. In addition, if you do make a return claim, YOU will be the one footing the return cost...just as I have. If you're expecting support, service or warranty, keep that in mind.Update: Even after I paid to return this brand new unused doorbell, I provided tracking proof of receipt, and they still failed to provide a refund. They have evaded emails on status as well. Looks like I'm now out $79. I do not recommend ANY product from this seller, because your returns for refunds are not honored. If I ever do get a response, I will retract my update. If you see the seller: Rampmu - Beware!

Ring, Ring, who is it? It’s a return if you buy this
Why buy a Ring when you can get a deal on this? Sure that’s what I thought and boy do I regret it. When trying to carefully installing it (which there are not directions for), three of the 6 clips that secure the doorbell to the power snapped off. Trying to install to the base level doorbell power did not work. So wasted 2 hours of my life, which I will never get back. Just buy a ring like your friends and family do, you won’t feel unique but you will feel safe, secure and happy with your Ring purchase.

Don't waste your time/money
Does not work as described. Batteries have to be re-charged every day. Detects everything but actual motion. And they are unwilling to accept a return.

Don't bother with this.
1st, it took 6 weeks to get here.2nd, someone easy to install but it can only be used on once device and sometimes the camera unbinds for no reason and needs to be re-installed.3rd, the doorbell camera "sleeps" or is "suspended" and needs to be "woken up." It often takes so much time to wake up that my door bell rang and the individual walked away before I could even answer it <see attached photo> it would just spin, load, spin...sometimes almost 5 mins... terrible time loading.waste of money.

Worthless!
Could not get software to work. No customer support! Tried to load software on 2 phones with no success. Could not find any info on customer support.

doesn't work...pass on this one
I really wanted to make this doorbell work...it worked while testing it before attaching to the house. it hardly ever picks up a person until they are on the porch, yet it will pick up a truck driving by. the doorbell works maybe 1 time out of 10. both the company and the seller tried to work with me, which was good, but nothing worked. they are giving me 10% of what i paid instead of shipping it back at my expense & long timeframe. Keep looking.

App really only works with WiFi. Do yourself a favor and buy a ring instead
I've had this product for a month now.It was extremely difficult to put into the brick siding of my home. It only comes with wood screws and no customer support number.The software was easy to install and the motion detector as well as camera and night vision work great!The problem with the software is that unless your phone is connected to WiFi, the app crashes every time I try to open it when I'm on data only. I only give this product 2 1/2 stars.

Doorbell works
I am fairly comfortable when it comes to operating technical devices however had quite a bit of difficulty with setting this device up. Once I completed installation and connected to the Wi-Fi it continually buffered even with great connectivity. I was unable to download images in a timely manner. I would not recommend buying this doorbell again. Spend a little more and get better quality.
