Helping my cat with struvite crystal issues
I found it's better to split the teaspoon of powder into two different feedings daily because the cat can't taste it in the food in a smaller dose. I've been mixing it with Friskies wet cat food, and I put on the gravy first and mix a little bit of water into the food. My cat eats it all with no issues. I've been using it for a few months now, and it is helping my cat. I have yet to notice the odor others are talking about. If you sprinkle this on dry food, I don't think your pet will eat it. I want to get his urine tested at the Veterinary office to see the actual results but he hasn't had any issues urinating and no blood spots, etc., since he has been on this. I was buying the Royal Canin RX food, but it's very pricey, and the cat doesn't like it, so I decided to try this. I'm also trying it with the Wysong uretic dry cat food. So far I am very happy with the results.

This Wysong product ABSOLUTELY works!
My 2 cats’ Ph was always high, actually had to take one of them into ER due to blood in her urine. I started giving them this in October of 2023 and by the end of December 2023, it had lowered both their Ph by 1.5 points. I also was giving them, at one meal only, 1.5 tablespoons of purina wet food that’s formulated specifically for lowering Ph and even watered that down with chicken broth to give them more fluid… so it may have been a combination of ALL those things … but for sure the CATALYST was this Wysong product. Because I had been giving them the Purina wet food prior to Wysong and it hadn’t lowered the Ph. Once I started Wysong, 2.5 months later it was lowered. So that’s the take away, or will take several months to work. Also, one of my cats LOVES the taste and the other doesn’t care either way. I think the smell is fine, it smells like strong chicken broth.

A solid 8/10. Do buy.
The vet recommended this along with PH testing strips instead of changing my dogs food because she had crystals in her pee or something. Vet said it burned when she peed. Ouch. This medicine is supposed to fix that.75lb female American Labrador. The bottle clearly states directions for weaning kittens and puppies, as well as growing and adult cats and dogs.As applies to me, "for growing puppies and adult dogs: 1 teaspoon per 15 lbs body weight daily"My dog is 75 lbs. 15*5=75.So I started with 5 teaspoons. After a few bottles worth of "fine tuning" the flavor and amount and the acidity of her urine to what she will tolerate, she licks the bowl clean after every meal. She really likes the gravy. Like, a lot."Fine tuning"When I started using the stuff, she would eat maybe 1/4 of her food with this medicine on it. She would eat all of her food without the medicine. She didn't like the taste. I tasted it. Its kinda like seasoned salt. Soon after that, the best idea hit me. After I pour this powder over her food, mix in some warm water. This makes what I assume is the best gravy my dog will ever taste. Since I started using the water, she hasn't wasted a nibble. She goes back and licks the bowl hours later. This gravy must be top tier.First I used the pH strips to test her pee and played with the amount I gave her.I started with 5 teaspoons, now its down to 3 teaspoons per feeding.1 bottle lasts me around 30 days.Amazon "Subscribe and Save" is really holding me down when I forget and the medicine runs low.I like to measure the medicine and spoon it into a little bowl first, and then sprinkle the bowl over the food, as opposed to trying to spoon medicine directly into the food. I get a more even distribution of medicine this way. I prep the medicine for tomorrow's feeding using the little bowl as well.I got a piece of string and tied it around the neck of the bottle, then tied the other end of the string to a plastic spoon. Using the same spoon every time means my measurements are consistent and I'm giving the correct amount of medicine.I marked a line on a plastic cup. I only use this cup for the dog food water. I microwave the water in this cup before I pour it on the food/medicine mixture. The line is almost a half cup.Step 1: sprinkle medicine evenly over food.Step 2: pour warm water over food.Step 3: mix wellStep 4: serve. That's all I do.All things considered, this medicine couldn't be easier to use, it could taste a whole lot worse than seasoned salt, and it could be cheaper.Overall I would personally recommend this medicine to anyone who needs it.A solid 8/10.

Warning: Different ingredients entirely
I just got this and discovered that the actual ingredients are very different than what is listed here. Thank goodness i checked, because there are ingredients in this that could have seriously harmed my special needs cat. I am so angry. And Amazon won't even take it back. I try to be so careful with her fragile health. I actually subscribed to this product thinking it would help her! I feel so tricked. I bought two expensive products from them that I cannot use at all. I don't have money like that to waste. I need it to take care of my family. This company needs to be accurate about what they are selling us. All I can say is… make sure to check the labels when you get their products. Thanks and good luck.

Expensive... luckily my dog is small.
This product is quite expensive, so I’m happy my dog is only 15 lbs! That being said, this product got rid of her struvite urinary crystals and lowered her urinary pH, so we could avoid putting her on prescription food with lots of concerning ingredients. The pH lowering was noticed practically immediately, within about 3 days her urine was consistently within normal range (we tested throughout the day using strips). I’m not sure when the crystals went away, but it was within a month as her next urinalysis showed absolutely no crystals with a normal pH. Overall, I am happy with this product as it performed above expectation, and I would consider using it with future dogs that have the same problem. But it’s quite expensive, and if my dog was larger I would have to look into buying it in bulk or something to help lower the cost per month.
