These are very sturdy, wood stools... very good quality fit and finish. Assembly was easy for the most part, with one small complaint: the screws are made of metal that is too stuff. Quite a bit of effort is needed to screw them into the small holes drilled into the legs, and after a while the Allen heads begin to round out... causing the Allen wrench to slip. Overall though, I'm happy with the stools.

It's a stool. It's the taller kind of stool. It's not difficult to put together even if you don't read instructions. It does what you'd expect of a stool and is about as comfortable as you'd expect of a wooden stool. The black color worked especially well for stage use, so it was a good purchase for my needs.

Purchased these for my photo studio for portrait shoots - they were a bit tricky to put together (it's a 2 person job) but overall very sturdy - the paint color is a nice black finish and is standing up to the wear and tear of studio use. I love the size they are a little taller but I prefer this so my clients can rest one foot on bar and one on floor.

I was almost scared to purchase based on comments about how it took 2 people to put together. Obviously these people don't know anything b/c it was super simple to put together with 1 person and didn't take hardly any time. Of course I used my own rachet allen wrench tool rather than the one provided so it went really fast. Stools are very sturdy and exactly what I wanted. Excellent purchase.

Had.them together in a half hour. Satisfied with them.

The pieces arrived already with scuffs, scrapes, and chips broken off around the edges. I figured I could buff them out or touch up with paint so I went ahead and assembled the stools. The pieces did not fit together well (angles not meeting flush, screw holes not quite lined up) making it difficult to tighten the cheap/flemsy screws with the provided Allen wrench. The process of tightening the screws with the provided wrench resulted in each of the screws being completely stripped so that they could not be fully tightened into place. As a result, the stools are flemsy and cannot be tightened fully, nor can I unscrew them to substitute higher quality screws or even to disassemble and send back. Also, the legs are not completely uniform in length so the stools are wobbly when placed on a flat surface. I gave 4 stars for comfort given that this style of stool isn't very comfortable anyway, so comfort level is as expect aside from the wobbling and anxiety about a possible collapse.

Purchased for friend. Easy to assemble. Looks good at counter. Supports 250 lbs easily.

Bought two of these in black, one of the bars broke as I was assembling. I contacted the seller (Spreetail) and they quickly sent a replacement bar at no cost to me. Obviously not a high quality product, but looks good and does the job.

They are perfect !

The duty that needed to be paid nearly equaled the cost of the chairs.
