Bought It For A Friend's Bike
There's a lady at our church who rides a bicycle to get around. Someone had given her the bike, and it was in need of several things to make it safe and legal. I got this water bottle holder for her, and it came well packaged and in good shape. Personally when I ride, I use a camelback, but as the saying goes, you can't carry too much water, so a water bottle holder is always good. I haven't checked back with this lady to see how it's working, but as a former bike mechanic, I can tell you they looked like it was fine and would work well.

I had to use my muscles to compress the cage...
To fit standard water bottles. I don't use a reusable water bottle because the water in my city sucks so I stick to regular sized water bottles. I had to clamp down on it to secure the regular plastic capped bottles.. i guess i didn't have to use my muscles i could have simply stepped on it for the desired diameter. Feels secure and snug and it was cheaper here than my local bike shop, which wanted to charge me 8 for it, 10 to install... wtf this is the easiest thing to install.. get it and stay hydrated!

Does the job
I've had this water bottle cage for about a year and it was worked flawlessly so far. I use it with a 24oz insulated Polar water bottle and it fits securely in the cage while still sliding out easily enough to grab one handed. I have never had my water bottle fall out of the cage. The black finish has held up fine. The water bottle cage also came with two new bolts to attach it to the standard brackets on my bike frame. This was highly appreciated since the bolts that had been in my frame were pretty rusty/grungy looking. There may be lighter wattle bottle cages, but it's not like the thing is super heavy. I ride at most 30 miles at a time, so I'm a pretty causal rider, so things like weight don't really matter to me. For commuters or casual weekend riding, this water bottle holder fulfills its purpose just fine.

Bottle holder at a bargain price
This was an accessory I purchased for my wife's brand new bike. It bolted very easily to the frame and seems to be of sturdy construction. The price really couldn't be beaten, and believe me I did try. The only downside is that it does need to be tweaked a little bit to accomodate most water bottles. This is fine if you're always planning to use the same bottle, but you'll need to bend it back again if you want to change to a thinner bottle. Not sure how many times the frame will hold up to that stress.

cheap and fairly good
It's a nice water bottle cage the only problem I had was mine was a little to open so my water bottles rattled but I was able to gently bend it a tad so it's a little tight now.update: after about 4 months the black paint has warn off where it comes in contact with my water bottle. I have two of them and they both have the same issue. I don't really care but if you want it to keep the sleek look you might want to get a different one with better paint.

Great, Simple, And To The Point
It's a simple alloy bottle cage said and done. Not a whole lot to it but that's just how I like it. Thicker diameter than most cages so that's a plus. It's got a nice gloss finish which I like, not a big fan of flat colors. Not much to say really. Of course if you do some hard riding it'll probably break at the weld, but that's a simple alloy cage for you. I put more abuse on these types of cages than anyone probably should and they usually last me anywhere between 6 months to a year. For the price that's honestly nothing to complain about and I've always considered these types of bottle cages a disposable item. For road, xc, light trail riding, commuting, or anything of that sort you'll probably never have a problem. Great product at a great value, it is what it is.

Your typical water bottle cage.
This bicycle water bottle cage is your typical or generic cage that is sold in every bike shop and retail store. It is composed of all metal, which means it is built tough. While it can hold many sizes of bottles you must use your strength to bend the cage to make it tighter or looser. I tried a Dasani water bottle and it fit but I have to bend the cage so much I was afraid it would damage it. Also take note, that if you ride a smaller frame bicycle (such as 16'') this cage may be too large for your bike. Sure the cage may fit but there is no room to put a bottle in it once it's installed. Instead of spending a few dollars for this generic cage I would suggest Topeak Modula Cage Waterbottle Cage . The Topeak (at $6) has adjustable fitting and it is made of plastic so it more lightweight.

Nothing special great price
I am rebuilding a bike for my son and the bottle holder was shot. I bought the Trek frame at a garage sale for $5. It was originally a bike that retailed for over $500 so I figured I could spend a little to replace damaged components. This Alloy Water bottle cage looks great and works well. It is nothing special but it is so much nicer than the one that was falling apart and my son is stoked that his bike will still have a bottle holder.I actually bought two frames for $10 total so have one more to go. Now that I have finished the first build I will be buying another one of these for the second build.Don't forget the screws, they were not included.
