Awesome! Really helps with the install of the liner.
It's just felt and its really thin about a 10 mils in thickness but it made the liner go on so much easier and helps with getting wrinkles out of the liner.

Paper Then Don't Buy
5 star so people will see this. Nowhere on product description does it give you thickness. This is paper thin. Very very unhappy.

Very good product. I bought this 16ft for a 14ft diameter pool. Worked out great.

Money well spent!
I used a pad between my sand and pool for the first time this summer. At first I thought the pad was too thin but we used it and it really helped smooth out the pool liner. It also gives me peace of mind there’s another layer of protection between the ground and liner.

Thin.
Not much thicker than a landscape weed barrier! Very disappointing. I put a thick tarp under it .

Way too little for the price. Buy a tarp and you'll be happier
33 x 18 oval shaped pool. This Rhino Pad was too small. it wouldn't reach the north/south ends by almost a foot, and was too narrow for the east/west sides by around 6 inches. It was also about 18 inches too long on all 4 arcs between the sides and the ends which wasn't a problem because I simply cut it to size with a simple pair of kitchen shears. Right, kitchen shears are more than enough to cut through this thin felt membrane that I stupidly paid $130 for. If I had known what it was I might have bought 2 or 3 of them for $20 each, but $130 for this thing is insane IMO. I should have known when it arrived since the package only weighed about 15 pounds but I didn't open it because I just replaced the liner yesterday, but I bought all this stuff months ago. I don't know what type of pad was under the old liner but I can tell you it was about 5 times as thick, and was a VERY heavy fabric that was hard to cut with a brand new utility blade razor knife. Between that and some super heavy duty shears I had in the garage we got it out of the pool in pieces pretty fast - but I was very disappointed in this product compared to the other one, especially since it was so much more expensive than it should have been. I don't think i was too much for me to expect it to be a better fit and for it to offer a little more protection for the liner. Live and learn. Buy a tarp and you'll be happier.
