BLACKHAWK Shemaugh

Received my BLACKHAWK! shemagh and love it. Just wanted to leave feedback that the size is a true 44". It's important for me, as I have a large head. I had previously ordered a shemagh from Rothco and love it too, but at 42" I was struggling to tie some of the head-wrap styles. This does the trick. I'm no shemagh expert, but the quality is very good, like the Rothco.Just a note that the color is not as pictured. The tan/black (coyote) color is somewhere between the two colors shown.

This is a good shamagh.I like the colors.It is large enough to do my wraps.Material is appropriately thin, and gauze like, yet decent quality.I have a thicker material shamagh, but is coarser and less comfortable.I really like this one and it's my new favorite. Will be buying more.For this price, this is hard to beat.My suggestion, buy a few.Note:Thinner material breathes better and is cooler. This is intermediate level in my opinion. There is thicker and thinner material but this one is just right for me without having to buy a $30 shamagh.Have not washed it yet, will update as to durability.

Top quality shemagh. Nice weave. Thick, not the translucent garbage they pass off as a shemagh. Keeps the sand and sun off. Keeps you cool in summer, and warm on colder days. If you make a hadji hat out of it, it is as good as any winter hat. Hiking in the cold, makes a great scarf and keeps the cold off your face when wrapped properly. In the summer, when hiking, keeps your ears, neck and face from getting burned. It is probably the single most versatile piece of clothing one could carry on any adventure. This one is a bit more expensive than the others, but you get what you pay for. It will last a very long time.

As described and definitely better quality than some others. Is a thin cotton material but some others are super thin. The color is definitely NOT set in and I thought the water would never run clean. That is my only complaint, I wish they would be colorfast. I see no reason for them to NOT be colorfast. I read up on a process that is supposed to help make it colorfast so I will try it but it will suck if the color bleeds at every wash and yes I hand washed in cold water. I believe to colorfast they say to add salt and vinegar to the water so I guess I will try that. If anyone has a better tip please let me know. Thanks! Now to learn how to put this thing on lol

trying all the different ways you can use this shemaugh. More than enough information on how to put these on and the variations of use on you-tube. I have the coyote tan and black and have not washed it yet. I do not think that the dyes like the OD green are going to matter but I would still hand wash it in some warm H20 and line dry it. It does add that extra layer of warmth on those cold hunting days or just working in the yard. You might get some strange looks from people passing by but just wave and go about your business. LOL Size is true to the description and no problems with the craftsmanship. If you do not want to wear it it makes a nice wall hanging in your equipment room.

Looks like Blackhawk has failed to provide its costumers with a decent product. Once used, thread count is dwindling because of the quality of this product. Looks cool but just not functional for the outdoors. The only thing I would use this for is dryer dishes with no edges.

In all my years of buying things over the internet, I have to say that this is the most pathetic excuse for an item that I have ever bought.1) The weave is extremely loose to the point that it will snag on almost anything. You can literally read newsprint through the weave. This is compounded by the fact that there were many areas over the entire surface where there were weaving errors, which will result in holes developing very quickly after the scarf is used/washed a few times.2) The sewing is extremely sloppy around the edges with many loose areas. The distance between stiching is also so far apart that the threads will pull and loosen quickly.3) THE SCARF IS NOT SQUARE. Mine was 40 x 46. As someone else mentiond below - without a square scarf you cannot make many of the traditional coverings/uses for the scarf.4) The color is not Coyote Tan/Black. It is light green/black.5) The tassles were poorly tied. I expect them to pull apart quickly. They're also very short. The purpose of the tassles is in part to break up your outline.6)) This is literally 40 cents of material and 40 cents of labor. I was happy to see it was Made in Pakistan, a country with a good reputation for clothing manufacturing, but this thing is such a fail. Avoid at all costs.

Blackhawk shemaghs are the best I have found. They are 2-4" larger than the other brands, they're built very well, and they handle a ton of wear and tear. I use shemaghs whenver I go outdoors in hot or cold weather because of the thousands of uses they have, and my Blackhawk one is my favorite.If you want the best shemagh on the market for the money, don't hesitate here. Avoid the others unless you want a non-absorbent material that is too small to get a proper head wrap.

Me dieron gato por liebre, no es original, por que es muy fácil cambiarla por otra que no es original, ademas en la etiqueta del empaque dice Hecho en pakistan, en el producto dice: Hecho en china y esta en español, y en la descripcion dice que es de U.S.A, demas se puede abrir fácil y no hay un sello de garantía o algo así.

Nice item, well made and thicker and softer than many offered online, stands up in the wash also. Many cheaper shemaughs will lose threads, this more mil spec. Pay a bit more, it's worth it.

Returned for credit. Not impressed. Item was falling apart or about to.

Llego antes de tiempo, la calidad de la shemagh es muy buena esta muy suave y bordada por el precio esta bien ya que hay otras que son de baja calidad, la recomiendo .
