We recently completed an adult adoption of "my son" :-D I wanted to give him a keep sake to mark the event. He's not usually one to show any emotion, but I got a huge smile on his face and even a hug for the present. The words sum up how I feel about him and its something he can have to mark such a special moment.

My first ever pocket watch. Mechanical to boot. Originally bought this to wear at a friends wedding. Didn't expect much of it and ended up liking it more than I thought. Figured a review was in order. It's not a bad little watch. It has a good weighty feel (About 2 oz. / 60g). It looks nice and is pretty to look at. The gears and parts inside look a little roughy finished, but they do their job. The chain does seem to be nice as well. The front cover is glass, as well as the back window, which I think makes it look so much better than the straight plastic that I expected. The covering over the face once you flip it open, however, is plastic. Shouldn't ever really be a problem with most of its life being closed. I also thought it was one of the "press the crown to pop the case open" sort of watches. Not the case. That little nub on the upper left side of the body near the crown flips it open to that desktop display position. Not a negative, just didn't pay attention to a small detail. This one ran about a second slow per hour. Kinda figured it wouldn't be perfect for a $20-ish chinese mechanical watch. Popped the back cover off, barely tweaked the regulation lever up (the one with two dots, there are pictures online to point you the right way if you're curious), and it went to 1 second fast per hour. Very touchy. I'm sure with some patience and a little bit of luck, it can be whittled down to a second every couple hours or so in either direction. Can't tell you the longevity of the thing. Could last a few days or a few years. Still quite cool, though. My one disappointment is, at least with the watch received, was not as rich a blue as shown. It's more of a lighter "old" kind of gray blue. Hence -1 star. The picture with this review is kind of closer, but still doesn't quite do it justice.

I bought if for my son for Christmas and when it came it was exactly as shown, so authentic, plus I love the all black makes it look so expensive..my son loves his watch💞💞

I love the writing on this bit was a gift for my son and he loves it too. But upon closer inspection when setting the time on it, the display has the wrong symbol for the Roman Numeral 4 is wrong. It should look like IV, but instead they put IIII. I’m upset about this mistake.

The watch in itself is beautiful. The advertisement showed a silver color for the lettering but what I received was more of a bronze color so it makes it a little difficult to read but it is still readable. All in all it will make a good gift.

Sie geht (relativ) genau, Abweichung ca.1-2 Min. pro Tag, lässt sich aber nachjustieren.Vom Preis her erscheint sie mir unschlagbar günstig.
