Very nice piece of leather. Used it to make a holster for my ghostbusters costume and it turned out great. I wet it and molded it into shape.

I needed it for Viking knife sheathes so this was ideal, it took the dark brown dye well no trouble there plus it was strong enough to shape and hold, so it will have pride and place in Valhalla.

I purchased this to make my own leather strops for sharpening. It's cheaper to buy a pice of leather (12x12 in my case) and attach it to metal or wood. I got about 3- 3"x8" strops, 1- 2"x8" and 1- 4"x12. I used a box cutter and a metal ruler to make my cuts and it came out great.For the actual leather, it's firm, thick and in great condition. My only beef (haha) is that the leather isn't cut estraight and it's just shy of the advertising length. It wasn't quite 12"x12", roughly 11 5/8" which isn't a problem for me but if your looking to cover that exact area for your project then you need to go bigger and cut to length. That's the only reason why I'm deducting a star.

Ordered a number of squares from different leather sellers for a project I'm working on. Not disappointed in any of the products delivered, but Jeereal squares stand out as the best. Ordered four squares from them, each was consistent/equal in excellent quality, and each was packaged individually (within the delivery box) with a silica gel packet to ensure they remained, moisture-free through the delivery process. None of the other sellers took the care to do that. Again, no problems at all with the other sellers' products upon arrival, but Jeereal definitely stood out.

This appears to be good quality leather. It is thicker and stiffer than I expected, but it loosens up with some manipulation. I have been using 18mm wide strip of this leather to make nice quality watch bands. I warm up the straps a little in a warm oven and rub some melted butchers wax into the leather to help loosen the leather, as well as to give it some more water resistance. I've had to thin the straps so that they fit through the watch, though. That is on my lack of judgment when ordering the thicker leather, not a problem from the manufacturer or Amazon. Overall I'm very happy with the results!

I ordered 4mm to make prinitive sandal soles, they work as perfect as I could have asked for, the leather is rigid and holds its shape well, while padding against sharp rocks. The sheet came in one consistant peice and had no blemishes or weak points. Highly satisfied.

I don't have any leatherworking experience aside from watching a few YouTube videos, but I have had many leather products and I can tell this is very good quality leather. It smells amazing, feels great and came very well packaged. My piece didn't have any flaws at all. With just a 12"x12" square of black leather I was able to make a bushcraft knife sheath with a spot for my Uberleben Fatty Ferro rod and a mask for my tomahawk. I still have a little bit left for something really small. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase!
