I have used the mounts for several years to attach wreath signs. They stick great to metal signs , but I need to add hot glue to the back to attach to wood signs. Without the glue the sign pops off the wood.

Worked for what I needed them for but the adhesive has to be in the perfect scenario it seems. I had to run a temporary extension cord from the house to the detached garage and I secured it along our fence and some siding. The siding it’s held up great and felt secure but some parts of the fence they wouldn’t stick at all. I would pay a little more if these were made with a much stronger adhesive, but for the price point they get the job done. I should also mention that they are tiny unless you get the big sizes. *Update 02/15/20* None of the mounts stuck to the fencing after about a day. We went on a weekend trip and I have a camera on our back yard and the cord was on the ground the day after installing. Would not recommend for anything other than siding or anything that’s not flat if being used outside.

I bought these to tidy up the area behind my motherboard. I was already a big believer in using cable ties in my builds. Unfortunately, many of the cases I build in lack adequate tie down points. So, I am sticking these exactly where I want them and using them to anchor my bundled cables in exactly the spots I want so the bundles follow the neatest possible path. I think 100 of these for $7 is a great value; they cost about four times as much in my local computer and electronics store. The adhesive is exactly the right strength. It is strong enough to make my bundles stay put and weak enough that I am not going to peel paint if I need to re-route for some reason. Protip: Before you tighten your tie wrap all the way down, rotate your tie wrap so that the head is between your cables and the mounting surface. Then, tighten all the way down and cut off the excess with wire cutters. Optimum neatness achieved!

Self stick feature with pre drilled holes in base make it a cinch to place and permanently attach. Happy with my purchase and I feel comfortable recommending to friends.

These are super handy and I love the idea! Just keep in mind, they’re not very adhesive. The little plastic squares with the adhesive are quite small and don’t have a lot of surface area, so you’ll have to use more of them than you think you’ll need. I had PLENTY leftover though since this pack comes with so many, so this wasn’t too much of an issue! And, when in doubt, you can always use the screws instead of the adhesive. Overall, pretty happy with them!

Bought these in December, and used about 75 of them to mount a wire along the fiberglass exterior of my travel trailer. I used alcohol to clean the area where I applied each tab, but I didn't use the screws supplied because I didn't want all those holes in my trailer. After a couple months, only two of the tabs were still attached to the trailer. Of all the tabs that came off, only one of those had the adhesive come off the trailer with the other side of the sticky pad still attached to the tab. All the resto of the sticky pads stayed on the trailer, but detached from the tabs. I spent three hours removing the remaining sticky adhesive from the trailer, thoroughly cleaning the trailer and the tabs with Goof Off and Simple Green, then replacing the double sided sticky pads that came with is with 3M VHB double sided tape.

It does not hold on any surface!

This has been great for cable management near my computer. Just tie in a zip tie loosely, and route your cables through. They stick very well.
