I'm a bit of a soap snob, and this is a high quality soap! The first thing that impressed me was the scent! It's a very refreshing citrus scent, not not too overpowering. The lather is instant and you don't need much!The most impressive think though was, I received a half ounce more than the box stated. It's advertised as a 4oz bar, but as you can see from the phone, it's actually 4.5oz! That may not mean a lot to some, but I've bought other brands in the past that are a half ounce less. I know handmade soaps can be off at times, but with this being my first experience with Falls River Soap Company, I'm already impressed!Will buy again!

Great soap and makes your feel squeeky clean...literally. when you wash with it, your skin is super grippy like spiderman. I assume because it cuts right through your body oils and leaves clean skin. I love it but i wish it wassnt as expenssive as it is. Also if its in the shower it seems to wither away faster than any other soap bar would.

A novelty soap, but pricey.

My skin is incredibly sensitive. Since childhood, Ivory is the only soap I’ve been able to use. As a 50 something with immune issues wearing protective masks, I have a lot of lower face breakouts. Found a YouTube video about citrus making a difference. I tried this soap, and it works! The calendula is wonderfully soothing. And the soap is pretty and beautifully scented.

I'll be honest. I have no idea what Calendula oil is supposed to smell like. I do however know what oranges should smell like. This bar was interesting in that it had texture to it, sometimes the little pieces could be felt but not to a degree that was displeasing. It did smell of orange, though I have had other soap boars that had more of an orangy smell shall we say. I buy mostly handmade or organic or natural soaps so I will say that although the bar was fine, if I want more of an orange scent I am more likely to choose another bar. I am picky in scents so perhaps that is why. I have combination skin that leans towards oily and I did not really notice a significant decrease in the oiliness by using this bar. I dont believe it professes to do that, but just wanted to mention.

I've bought several types of soap from Falls River Soap Company. These are awesome soaps! Aside from Amazon coming up with this new "Add On" program, which prevented me from ordering my favorite soap (French Lavender Basil Soap (4 Oz Bar)) for months, the product has been great. The add on program means that you MUST spend $25 on other items, and then you can add this single bar of soap. I don't buy many many items from Amazon. Alllllllll I want is just this ONE soap bar, and I can't buy it. So I tried the Orange Soap with Calendula. It's a good product, but I sure do wish I can buy the product I want. My favorite. Its been three months that I could not buy it. I purchased one EVERY month. High praise to Falls River. I'd buy it directly from Falls River, but they charge $5 for shipping. On Amazon 2 day "Prime" shipping is free. High praise for the Falls River Soap company, I love the products and highly recommend. Shame on Amazon. I called customer service and did not receive any help with "just" the purchase of my favorite soap. French Lavender Basil Soap (4 Oz Bar)

This soap is amazing it came on time as scheduled the packaging was professionally described and designed very transparent this soap smells good and looks just like the pictures my skins feels and smell good it’s also Healed some my acne on my face this soap bar is worth every dime I highly recommended it
