a compilation of London games with annotation
it says the key to the system is knowing when to play c3 or c4 and when to play h3, then it goes on with many instructive games. I much prefer other opening books that actually go through the lines and the variations of those lines with explanations along the way. This book is basically a compilation of London games with annotation.

Great
Each chapter has an overview of what is recommended. So easy to learn. The overview is followed by three or more sample games that give the idea of of recommended line.Don't underestimate how aggressive this is.

Valuable Addition To My Chess Library
I am enjoying my chess more than usual thanks to the engaging play provided by the Agile London System Opening. Having not used this system before, I have found if a new adventure for me because it results in a wide choice of tactics and in some intriguing games. Both Black and White have new chess game experiences thanks to this opening. The book is well written and presents the opening in a variety of real game situations. The chess notation is easy to follow. The author does a good job of explaining the rational behind the key moves. A valued addition to my small chess book library.

A Nice Book on the London and More
The author(s) in this book present the London as a weapon against all defenses. Plus they present a brief overviews of the Jobava Attack, a cross between the Veresov and the London and the Pereyra Attack. With so much material to cover, they can't go into a lot of depth. Still it's a nicely written book a well worth having if you intend to use the London as your primary weapon as White.

I'm getting so much out of this book! So much detail if you care to get into various lines and ideas, but also easy to follow along with the general themes in the book. Highly recommend.

Fantastic explanation of the London System!!
The author introduces the concept at the beginning of each chapter, and provides key games supporting the ideas. It's not a book for beginner level players. However class B or higher level players will find good use for the themes and lines, outlined by the author. Highly recommended for the competive chess player.

Full version not on Kindle ??
I bought this book 'new' for full price from Amazon.com. I thought that entitled me to the Kindle version as a 'free extra'. But it looks like I only got a 'taste' of the book on Kindle. The actual book has arrived - a little beat up, it was sent in a baggie - but I need the Kindle version to use with a chess program I have. Now It wants me to pay again to get the Kindle version ?? Not happy.

Was hoping for little bit more narrative
Probably bad choice for my first "technical" book, but I've been playing the London system for years now and was hoping to learn from it. Good for what it is.

excellent
