Easy to install, works perfectly - Laptp now faster (sitll, will add an SSD as OS disk)
Comment; I have not measured this Memory module impact on battery life (duration of charge), since I didn't measure how it was with the lesser size RAM and different brand module that it replaced, but at least it hasn't shortened battery life, so 5 starts there. This memory went into my wife's entry level, Office and Google Classroom dedicated entry-level laptop, which it doesn't have touch screen, so I'll give it 5 starts to avoid giving wrong negative impression.Installation is as easy as your device allows. Meaning, in my case I needed to remove the whole bottom cover, which is 15 small screws with a small Phillips screwdriver, the removing the installed memory module and inserting this one, taking care of preventing static discharge on your memory module and rest of computer parts, is really easy. in my case just pushing the side holders to free the first one, pulling it out carefully, inserting the new module (it only goes in one position) carefully, until the side holders click in place, and finally placing back and screwing the bottom cover with its screws. Some laptops have only a small cover to remove and reach for the memory location. The module was immediately recognized by the BIOS, and by Windows 10 (64 bits) and I'm attaching a picture of the received memory module as well as a couple of screen pictures to show you.

Works perfectly
My laptop i got sometime around Christmas (http://www.amazon.com/HP-Pavilion-17-3-Laptop-Computer/dp/B00G1SV1VM although i got mine from Best Buy) came with 4GBs of 1.35V RAM (the standard for most is 1.5V, though. it was most likely chosen for this laptop to save on battery power). I heard it's not very wise to mix RAM sticks with different voltages so i went on a hunt for another fairly priced 1.35v stick. Found this bad boy after a good while of searching and it was pretty much the best deal i was gonna get, so i went for it.The stick arrived close to a week later (i ordered on Friday, had to wait for the weekend to end for it to begin moving, and it came on Wednesday). I slapped it in, and all was ok from i could tell. Didn't really notice a big reduction in the time it took for the laptop to boot up, but then again, i never cared enough to compare. Anyway, because of the APU's reliance on dual channel memory, i saw some very nice increase in performance on most of my games.Games where i struggled to get higher than 20 FPS on lower resolutions and settings before the upgrade, i was able to get 30 and, in some cases, above on higher settings. Crysis 2 for instance now steadies around the low 30s, sometimes dropping below into the 20s from what i played(at 1280x720 on "low" settings if you can even call it that. seriously, the game looks amazing). Which is pretty great for a laptop i paid $400 for. Tomb Raider now also steadies around the low 30s, sometimes dropping down into the mid 20s at 1280x720 on medium setiings. Borderlands 2 runs pretty well also. Though i can't remember on what settings. exactly.So...Yeah. It was worth it.

8gb memory
Wanted to update an old dell inspirion laptop from 4gb to 8gb so it was just fast enough to do basics for me. Threw manjaro linux on it, and it works perfectly.

Easy upgrade to a 5-year-old laptop.
I have an Acer laptop that has been serving me well since 2018, but it's been getting more and more crud built up on the hard drive, programs were taking longer to start, switching tasks was getting cumbersome. This was about a $70 upgrade from 6GB of memory to 16GB, and while it doesn't fix everything, it did keep me from having to reinstall the operating system and all the programs in order to keep this as a usable machine. Took about five minutes to install, just needed a Philips screwdriver to take three screws out on this particular machine to get the cover off to reveal the existing memory modules. Easy and done and probably added another couple of years of moderate use to this laptop. Well worth it.

Works with ASUS ROG G751JL
I received the two (2) 8GB DDR3L 1600 memory sticks (8GB x 2) in good condition and was able to install both SODIMM modules in my ASUS ROG G751JL notebook. I primarily use my ASUS ROG laptop for my mobile virtual instrument+DAW rig (EWQL-SO, Lounge Lizard EP4, Pianoteq 5.8+Bluethner, Dimension Pro, Cakewalk Music Creator 7, Brainspawn's Forte 4 as live host and other virtual instruments running on Windows 10 with my Scarlett 6i6 audio-MIDI interface). My laptop booted up with no hiccups after installation of new pair of 8GB modules...it's been more than a month of problem-free operation. The ASUS ROG G751JL I bought actually came with a stock pair of 16GB (8GB x 2) memory with the option two add another 16GB through the two vacant memory slots (for a total of 32GB RAM). I actually now have a whopping 32GB of DDR3L 1600 SODIMM goodness! My only minor gripe is that Kingston 16GB module in Amazon does not appear to be sold as a pair of 8GB modules with the same manufacturing batch/code. Further, one of the 8GB module says it was "Made in Taiwan" and the other 8GB module was "Made in China"...not that there's any difference considering that Taiwan is under China already.Bottomline: This module is fine for my ASUS ROG G751JL. I haven't encountered any problems so far with my laptop after the memory modules have been installed. So I'd say I'm quite happy with the purchase.
