Nice sturdy product. I am an evening out some live round Oaks and it held the entire time without needing Readjustment despite hitting my guide repeatedly throughout the process. Definitely a quality product.

I bought this to use with a 2 inch surfacing bit to flatten flitch slabs that I chainsaw milled. It works quite well, and is balanced well for the speeds that I use. Since I am running a wider bit, I don't run the router too fast, and it feeds with confidence through the material I am cutting.

Perfect for a router sled. Doesn't loosen after time even with a 1.5" bit.

This extention is not balanced in the least. I'm using a 2 inch spoilsboard bit and it alone is fine, no vibration, however when I add this extention there is a terrible vibration. Even at the lowest RPM it was bad. I can only see bad things happening if I tried to use this for anything other than a paper weight. I am returning it and I will go with a higher priced one, any extention for a router has to be balanced and milled to the highest standards. This product is neither of those. I guess I was wishful thinking that a low priced one would be anything but what it is.
