Good quality
Works well. Good quality. Sealed well when not in use, so no leaking while transporting it. I would buy again.

Can is great, spout is not.
Has this red thing your supposed to push to use (still haven't figured out how it works. When you pull it out it is covered in gas like most spouts, then you have to pudh on this red thing that is soaked in gas, so for the rest of the day you smell like gas. There is a red cap under the lid/cdp to seal it up when the sout is not in use. It is a seperate, small piece. Something that would be easy to lose in a dark emergency situation, or even just refilling your gas powered electric generator in the dark.

Work great BUT!
I like these cans. They work great and according to what i've been told meet DOT requirements which is improtant due to traveling with a landscape trailer. Okay now for the but! #1 Do not throw away the caps because rain will collect on them on open trailers and if you forget will go right into your equipment if not emptied. #2 They are a little more argravating to use and I have seen, but not sugggesting, the red sliders removed to make it easier. #3 In hot weather always release the pressure that builds up of you will/may have gas spray all over you and or the ground. Even with these minor issues I will continue to use this type because nothing is perfect...

DISASTER!! 2nd Update - Real Emergency & Spout Failed!!!!
2nd & FINAL UPDATE -Ran out of gas 1/2mi from house. Poured fuel into my car using this can and spout - car would still not start. Started to panic and almost called for help when I decided to try again using a funnel only to OBSERVE THAT THE FUEL HAD ONLY BEEN DRIBBLING FROM THIS ABSURD SPOUT!! I REMOVED THE SPOUT AND POURED DIRECT INTO THE FUNNEL - THANK GOD THE CAR STARTED.DO NOT BUY THIS CANDO NOT BUY THIS CAN!!DO NOT BUY THIS CAN!!!!!!!!!UPDATE - I purchased a fuel funnel at the Dollar Tree should I opt not to use the goofy EPA spout and pour without it.I bought this CAN because the price was better than all my local Auto Parts stores. I never read the terrible reviews until after I placed my order because I'm 62yrs old and figured no way a simple 2gal gas CÀÑ that has been in production since my childhood could be so troublesome.THIS IS WHAT I DID WHEN THE CAN ARRIVED:1) Relaxed & laid down with the CÀN on my stomach and read the instructions on the CAN several times. 2) Unscrewed the cap, ( just doing that took a screwdriver & pliers to break the seal - complete insanity! ) pulled out the nozzle for pouring and played with it until I felt I had a decent understanding of exactly how it was designed to function. 3) Then I tested the nozzle with the CAN still empty to see if I could put emergency gasoline into my car - I think I could even though it was only a practice try. 4) Finally, I tested it again for leaks - filled 1/2 the CAN with water and tightened the cap and nozzle back on. Turned it upside down and shook it vigorously with no leaks.Trust Me - If this thing gives me any trouble I plan on breaking the safety feature on the nozzle or simply eliminate it and use it with a funnel.I will update this review after I fill it with gas and attempt to pour some into my car.Hope this helps resolve some of the frustration of a government regulated goofy safety nozzle design.

Hard to pour
Maybe it's a skill issue, but extremely difficult to pour without getting gas everywhere first
