wow, magical
Why did you pick this product vs others?: i use this can to fill up my motorcycles. Overall great product and much much better than the other gas cans I've owned before. the nozzle does indeed stop filling at the max level if used correctly, and there is no spill (again, if used correctly). once I got used to it, it is very easy to use, did I mention it automatically fills to the max level and stops? game changer. You do need to vent the tank to depressurise before each use, if there is pressure inside the tank then there is potential spill. best to just push it a few times and make sure it's smooth. also, another nitpick is the cap on the nozzle is connected with hard plastic, it could get in the way.

Five-Star Gas Can With ONE GIANT CAVEAT
This is a quality product with an innovative and secure main seal and pouring system. Top of its class in both of those respects. I don't think you can find a better poly fuel container under about $75, which is the going rate for those "mil-spec" Scepters on eBay (when you can find them). That said, there is one huge caveat to consider if you've got a sprayed-in bed liner, a tonneau top, and a "throw-and-go" mindset like me. Here's the story: I used this thing to fill up a generator I was testing, and I secured the top as tightly as it would go before setting the can -- now half emptied -- into the bed of my truck with the rest of my tools. Since the can doesn't leak in ANY orientation, I didn't think or bother to cinch it down or stabilize it in any substantial way (as with bungee cords or the like). I simply closed me tonneau, put the tailgate up, and went on my way for a couple of days. Then, I notice a strong gasoline smell coming from the back of my truck. I figured that some gas had dribbled out of the mouth or spout and was stinking up the joint. That was correct. But the smell was nothing compared to the damage the spilled gas did to my bed liner -- it totally stripped it off the bed itself! I assume it was able to soak into the sprayed-on liner because the closed tonneau prevented rapid evaporation. So much for "heavy duty," I guess. Still, that part is my fault (or my truck dealer's, for using a cheap product). Nevertheless, I wanted to see if the can was at all to blame, so I inspected it to try to find the leaky spot. Of course, the can was bone dry on the outside, and it wouldn't leak its contents no matter how I held and shook it. So I got to thinking, and I decided that something else in the bed must have wedged up against the can's push button and released some gas into the nozzle. The nozzle still had its cap on, by the way. So I pushed the button, and the nozzle filled up. I set it on its side, but the gas stayed put. Then, I tilted the whole thing upside down -- with the gas still suspended in the nozzle -- and all of it came spilling out the back side, around the actual push button (which was no longer depressed). Mystery solved. I wouldn't call it a design flaw, either. It's simply a limitation of the nature of the product itself. So, if you have a crummy dealership-installed spray-in bed liner and no cinches for your gas can, you might do some costly -- but fixable -- damage to your ride. I am not certain that the tonneau played a significant part, but it may have. So, consider your habits and your usage scenario, and don't make the same mistake I did.

Best gas can I've used
No one likes the new gas cans that replaced the old ones that were simply a spout and an air vent. The new gas cans without the little yellow air vent cap were apparently mandated to prevent people from spilling gas. They of course have the opposite affect and gas is constantly spilled out of the new cans. This no-spill stens can however is the only one I've used that works and works well. If you do not like the "new" cans this one is the one you should get. So far it has lasted one mowing season in a professional landscaping/lawn mowing business and I expect it will last next season also. One thing to be careful of is to release the pressure before putting the spout into the gas tank. If you don't gas can shoot out fast and splash out of the tank and into your face. Every time you use it just make sure to squeeze the trigger before filling the mower/weed eater, etc. I highly recommend this gas can.

Almost exactly what I ordered.
I have similar fuel cans that I purchased locally; however, they have a handle molded into the back of the can that makes it much easier to hold while pouring. They are either too small or two large for the use I have for the two of these cans I ordered on Amazon. I failed to notice this fuel can lacks that handle, but it is otherwise exactly what I wanted. It fits perfectly on the rear passenger step on each side of my Outlander 850, allowing me to carry more than enough fuel to refill my fuel tank on a long trip and, if tightened properly and not overfilled, they do not vent off gasoline fumes or seepage around the pour cap. I only gave four stars due to lack of the rear handle on the can, but that is my fault for not noticing its absence - the fuel can is a quality product at a lesser price than many power sports fuel cans I evaluated.

Good gas can
I purchased this gas can to take with us as we travel with our camper trailer and generator. This is the perfect size for our needs and will fill our generator twice. The material used is of good thickness and the spout design allows for no dripping. However, it can be a little awkward pouring when the can is full - making it heavier - and trying to press the lever to open the spout, but it is doable. I'm pleased with this purchase and it works well as intended.

Makes filling gas’s tank very easy with a smaller size and spring action nozzle!
Just used for the first time and is very easy to handle! Was out snow blowing driveway and walks for 3 1/2 hrs so had to fill up twice! Just the right size so your not struggling with a 5 gallon can? The nozzle with spring action using two fingers makes it very easy to use without pouring gas’s all over everything!

Great cans!
I love these cans. The nozzle is the best. Just press the button and pour. So much better than those cumbersome safety nozzles. Won't ever use anything else.

Useful no-spill gas can for yard work
When I'm working outside and need quick access to fuel, this gas can is really handy. It doesn't spill easily, which keeps my garage clean and safe. The size is perfect for my needs, and I feel confident using it around children and pets. 😊 Definitely a good addition to my tools.

I've bought no-spill fuel can spouts before and have been disappointed. This one came on a can, is simple to use, and is reliable—so long as you pay adequate attention to what you are doing when decanting petrol. Listening to the changing sound as the tank fills is more helpful than seeing the fuel level. The flow of petrol stops immediately when the button is released. Highly recommended.

I have just used for the first time and I am really surprised how convenient and controllable it is. It is in my car and I don't smell any fumes. When I refuel my portable generator, not a single drop gets wasted or drips. Excellent can.

These are the best gas cans on the market that I have ever bought. Easy to fill and a push button to let the gas run out. There are three places to grip the can. (1) The handle for carrying, (2) Finger grips on bottom of yellow cap while you push button on the top with thumb, (3) Slot in bottom of can to put fingers for tilting can when pouring. No leaks. I can place it on my generator gas tank place the nozzle over the hole push the button. It works great for me and I highly recommend it.
