Serious sheet love here...IF you get a decently-made set
Living in a household with three males, I don't get a lot of "pretty" in my life. I have somehow managed to turn my bedroom into my "happy place," and a comfy bed is a non-negotiable MUST to me. I have shopped and shopped and shopped for sheets that are comfortable, durable, and priced for everyday folks such as myself. I lucked up when I found these sheets as an outlet deal. They are, without a doubt, the BEST set of sheets I've owned. Now, I feel it necessary to say that I'm not a huge fan of cotton sheets. Cotton/poly blends, maybe sometimes, but plain cotton just doesn't have the texture that I like. These Clara Clarks certainly do. These sheets are on the thicker end of the microfiber spectrum. They're not like the cheapies that you can see straight through, and they don't trap heat like those impossibly thin, junky sheets manage to do. They're also impeccably sewn--my set doesn't have the first missed stitch or loose thread. They have the luxurious feel I really appreciate, they've held up through numerous washings, and I can still afford to pay bills after buying a set of them. Win/win/win.Although I refuse to budge from my 5-star review, I do want to be fair and include a couple of things that might be issues for other people. First, these are pretty deep-pocketed sheets. There was a LOT of fitted sheet to tuck around my 12-or-so inch deep mattress, and the elastic sewn in isn't super-tight. That being said, I still haven't had any issues with it bunching or walking itself loose from my tucking efforts. Another thing that might be off-putting to others was the amount of lint I found in the lint trap after the first time I dried them (low-heat cycle, of course). After checking the lint trap that first time, I was amazed that there was still any sheet left to put on the bed, but somehow there was, and the result was an insanely soft set of sheets that had only the most minimal of color fade. Definitely things I can live with for what these lovelies offer in return.Don't be afraid to give these a try if you're looking for a decadently soft, breathable, durable set of sheets. If you manage to catch a set of them on super-sale, pat yourself on the back while your wallow in their softness.**UPDATE 8/15/16** After purchasing and receiving another set of these sheets, this time in Eggplant Purple, I'm lowering this product's star rating. I'd go for about a 3.5 if Amazon would let me. My original navy blue set is holding up pretty nicely after repeated washings, drying, and usages. However, this purple set....ugh. Still insanely soft? You'd better believe it. True to color? Absolutely. Great deep-pocket fit? Definitely. Sound and precise stitching? NOT so much. Upon removing these sheets from their package--which, by the way was ripped, so shame on you, Amazon!--I was very dismayed to discover that the flat sheet had *numerous* missed stitches and loose threads along the hem lines. They only got worse after washing, so I'm guessing these particular sheets aren't going to be anywhere near as durable as my previous set. Also...and here's the real kicker...the flat sheet and a pillow case had FOOTPRINTS on them. I've always kind of giggled when I've read other sheet reviewers state that they had footprints on their sheets and wondered if they were seeing things, but now I totally believe them. I had a row of dusty shoe prints along one side of the sheet. Seriously?? So, if the quality of these sheets is going to be a gamble when purchasing from set to set, I'm going to have to weigh my options. Please do bear in mind that if you get a well-made set, they're absolutely fantastic. If you don't get a well-made set...well, they're still pretty comfy, even if they have issues. You'll have to be the one to decide if you feel like rolling the dice.

I read reviews and people seemed to love them or hate them
I have a pillow top queen size mattress and have never tried anything microfiber in regards to sheets. I read reviews and people seemed to love them or hate them. I bought two different brands so I would have something to compare them to. This Clara Clark set in camel was not bad, and I would purchase another pair. I have thick flannel sheets and high thread count sheets/cotton, and this pair was neither, and somewhat thin. I agree, there was slight odor in opening and even after first wash, but amazingly they stay on. They have washed well so far, no rips or tears or pilling, and the smell has faded. They are soft and the elastic is still intact. The other brand I bought will not stay on and they are soft but uncomfortable. It is liking sleeping in a sauna, they are hot and with each wash they fade. I would recommend them for the price and I am going to assume the higher thread count makes a difference. the pair I bought to compare them to were not this high of a thread count and there is a difference in quality of fabric after washing and drying. I have washed them at least 20 plus times so far and they are still doing well.

Soft enough to make you just want to lay there.
I'm hot natured so I might be hard to please. These sheets say "microfiber" now, but I could have sworn they said "Micro-flannel" when I bought them. Either way, at least on one side, these sheets are SOFT while still keeping me cool at night. One side of the top and fitted sheets feel fine, but has that slick, polyester feel to it. The opposite side, however, is another story. It a "squeeze-a-microfiber-teddy-bear" kind of soft and it's ridiculously comfortable. Just move any part of your bare skin across it and you'll feel it to.After a year of owning this set of sheets, I bought another just because I got tired of waiting for one set to wash and dry before I could put them back on the bed. Do yourself a favor and buy these. They're a little bit thick, but I live in Mississippi so the AC is always set to 72°F. Even in the summer, they're just right. If I get cold in the winter, I'll just roll a comforter over myself.

Not too impressive...
I should have read the reviews before buying these sheets. First, they are not soft, snuggly cotton flannel sheets (cotton was surreptitiously omitted from the title in a way that was easy to overlook and a little misleading). Instead, the fabric is a little softer than a hair cutting cape and smells faintly like a plastic blow-up pool (this is a after the first wash). I'm not sure what chemicals they used to make this, and the smell is disconcerting, especially because the sheets were made in China and it seems like hazardous chemicals on consumer products have slipped through guidelines and into the States from China before.Additionally, there were considerable defects on one of the pillowcases. I will try to upload a picture, above.I'm not sure I feel comfortable even using these sheets, when I don't know what I'd be breathing in all night...

The color is pretty, they are very soft
The color is pretty, they are very soft, and indeed have deep pockets but something about the material catches on my regular cotton pajama pants and so the sheets sorta shift around all night, it's weird. Not the worst thing but if you wear cotton pajama pants it might be an issue!

Good value on sheets
These sheets are so comfortable and warm. The only thing I don't like is how they wrinkle so much on the bed. But they are so soft that if you don't see the wrinkles, they don't bother you. I still wish they didn't wrinkle so easily though.

My mattress is pretty big and I have never had problems with sheets ...
Pros: sheets came when promised and the color is exactly what I was looking for.Cons: were advertised as flannel sheets and are NOT flannel. Write up says flannel, package says flannel but they weren't flannel. My mattress is pretty big and I have never had problems with sheets fitting properly, in fact if anything sheets typically run on the small side but these sheets are HUGE. Plus they have a horizontal seam running across the bottom which is weird. It's covered but just strange I thought. Would not purchase again.

Nunca más.
Horribles. Deberían llamarlas sabanas de 2mil arrugas. Tanto que dude en comprarlas. Compre 6 y todas es la misma cosa. Horribles. Pesadas. Calientes. Arrugas que dan miedo.
