OtterBox ALPHA GLASS SERIES Screen Protector for iPhone 6 Plus/6s Plus - Retail Packaging - CLEAR

I chose this screen protector over the InvisibleShield primarily because of the difference in warranty service - OtterBox is well known for their no-hassle warranty replacement program on their phone cases and I expect it to be the same on this item, should the need arise. InvisibleShield wants you to pay $5.99 plus shipping for a replacement, and many reviews say they needed a replacement within days of purchase.The Otterbox screen protector comes in a plastic "clamshell" that also doubles as an installation aid. After cleaning the screen with the included alcohol wipe and buffing with the micro-fiber cloth, you peel off the plastic on one side of the screen protector, lay it in the bottom of the clamshell and position your phone over the protector, using the raised ridges of the clamshell as a guide. I found it difficult to get the iPhone 6 Plus in the right position, but since I expected it to be difficult, I was able to check the alignment before the screen protector attached completely to the screen. It took a total of 4 tries to get it right, at which point the screen protector sealed itself to the screen with only a few air bubbles that were easy to remove. (Note that the Otterbox warranty on the screen protector specifically allows for one replacement due to an incorrect installation - so if you screw it up and end up breaking the protector trying to re-position it, you should be able to get a replacement at no cost.)Apparently at some point, however, I got either a finger print or some fuzz under the far lower left corner of the screen and find now that it won't fully adhere to the glass on the phone. I also notice a couple tiny pieces of lint embedded under the screen, but those are only visible when the screen is turned off -- once it's lit up, you can't tell the protector is in place or that there's anything under it.The screen protector (as is common with all similar brands used on the iPhone6 Plus) doesn't go to the edges of the phone glass since the glass is curved. However, the lip of the phone case I'm using protrudes enough that it would be difficult to drop the phone so that it landed in that unprotected area.Overall, I'm happy with the Otterbox screen protector but time will tell if it was a good purchase or not. At least I don't anticipate having to pay out of pocket for warranty replacement if it becomes necessary

I was not happy with Otterbox since I called them to ask the best way to install the screen protector and they said to use the template they provide and not without it. I carefully followed the steps and placed the glass in the template and put the phone on top of it and ended up not being lined up properly on the phone then I tried without by my eye site twice withing a few minutes which is less than the 5 minutes they say you have but it has bubbles in it.So I called Otterbox and they charged me $6.99 plus tax to send a replacement. I am not happy since I was careful putting it on with their template which did not work so it was likely defective. This screen is already expensive so I feel they should have not charged for a replacement for a template that did not work.I hope the replacement one installs better.Update: 6/23/15 - I upgraded to 4 stars since I was able to install the replacement glass screen fine, but this time I did not use the plastic case template so this way I could eye ball the screen protector when it was going on to be more accurate and is positioned much better now first time going on with no bubbles. So I guess it's a matter of whether you want to trust your own steady hands or use the template and not see what it is doing until you turn it around. I did take my case off the phone first since I felt it might block me getting closer to the phone when placing the screen protector.Update: 6/29/15 - updated review title and added some comments..Now that it's installed I am happy with it and have the Symmetry case on the phone also.I went with Otterbox glass screen protector since I have been happy with their cases and support.

Made well, but a bit over priced. It's about the same quality as the tech armor. The screen is only 2-way privacy. Haven't found a glass version yet that was 4-way. Easy bubble free installation. Just make sure to use the supplied wipe to remove all dust.Like most glass screen protectors, didn't expect to cover the whole screen because of the iPhone curved glass. Will not work with Lifeproof cases or any cases that a front shield. Only will work on cases with front exposed bumper cases, casemates, Elementcase etc.All in all it's the same thickness/quality as the tech armor privacy screen, but double the price. The Otterbox has a slight edge since the privacy is a bit darker, but tech armor I think has a better cut for the exposed front camera. It has a small exposed cut out circles instead of just a lazy rectangle cut as seen on the Otterbox.I recommend staying away from Zagg. Very thin and corners chip without any effort. Went thru 3 replacements at 5.00 return shipping just for having it in my pocket.

WOW WOW WOW I bought this same product for my friend's Samsung 6S. the kit with the alcohol wipe and dust cloth get the screen perfectly dust and bubble free for this super self adhesive temper glass is so easy to apply. just follow the directions and make sure you line up the screen perfectly because this product is not coming off once its on. so easy i didn't have to rub any bubbles out or anything i just placed the temper glass at an angle near the ear piece and pressed allowing the screen protector to stick and it just does it on its own. its so cool. i cant expressed how impressed and excited i was about being able to do this on my own. my friends made fun of me because I always ask them to apply these for me. But I wanted to do it for them to show them even I can apply this!

I have used the "plasticy" screen protectors for years and inevitably you end up with bubbles or corners that begin to lift. Neither of those are problems with this glass screen protector. It goes on easily, don't have bubbles and is unlikely to ever lift an edge or corner. No scratches so far, despite being carried in a purse next to a set of keys most of the time. The oleophobic (anti-fingerprint) coating works extremely well. Highly recommended!

The screen protector doesn't adhere fully, but any "glass" screen protector will not. I wish OtterBox sold the thin protectors that come with their cases, as those are flexible enough to adhere fully, but alas, that would be a perfect world.Easy to install and comes with everything needed to install. It is very clear and you wouldn't know it was there except that along the edge of the screen is where you can see that it's has not adhered.iPhones curved screen is to blame for that though.

Every time I buy something from otterbox I end up disappointed with the quality for the price. Glass is already peeling up and this is not my first screen protector. This is the only one that has ever done this.

as with all things you stick to the screen of your phone they work fine and help protected not worth some money

Really good quality! The only problem is Thad take long time to come in the mail :( but other then that happy with it !
