30 PCS 80 Grit Abrasive Flap Wheel Sander, 1/8" Shank Diameter Cone Shape Abrasive Sandpaper Flap Sanding Wheel Grinding Head Rotary Tool for Grinding and Polishing

I live in an 80-year-old house and have been trying to strip about 80 years' worth of paint (approx. 1/8" thick) from the door frame. Until I bought these flap discs, everything I tried was too aggressive or not aggressive enough. In the photo showing the regular flap discs, this is what the section I was working on looked like after I used them. Previously it was completely covered in paint. These discs are also a lot more durable than other products I've tried. The inset photo shows an unused flap disk and the one I used to strip the entire top of the door frame. It still has enough grit to tackle part of the side frame. The pointed sanding bits get into tight corners and crevices better than anything I've tried--without them I'd have been stuck hand-sanding for days. They aren't as durable as the regular flap discs; I went through three of them, going around the edges of the upper door frame. But, not at all bad compared to other accessories I've tried. I used the cylindrical flap disk to strip the upper edge of the frame and it worked very well. It only took one, and as you can see, it held up well and didn't lose a lot of grit. The cylinders are an excellent substitute for a sanding drum and sleeve, and far superior in performance and durability. All in all, I accomplished more in about 3 hours with these discs than in 3 days without them. I kept my Ryobi rotary tool at "3" and that was a good speed. To avoid gauging the wood, be sure to keep your rotary tool moving and use a light touch, letting the tool do the work. If you have some paint to remove from wood, and especially something with a lot of tight spaces, you can't beat these attachments! The set also shipped quickly. I bought them at night and had them by the following morning.

Looks like good stuff for sanding with the dremel

The media could not be loaded. I'm using a lathe and the sanding wheels. They're pretty accurate, I wouldn't say that they're for detailed work but they do a decent job.Just keep working with them until you get the surface that you want. They're capable of taking the image completely off these bottle caps, and took a standard washer and just roughed one side and smoothed the other side as much as possible.They ware out pretty quick and they wobble quite a bit. Not entirely symmetrical.I'm pretty happy with the bits though, great values for the price.

Compared to the $2 single flap wheel I purchased at Walmart (which is still working, I just wanted backups), these do not last very long at all.

These flap brushes last just as long, if not longer, than Dremel branded ones. For the price I will most definitely be buying more

I uses these on a regular basis now, fit my dremel just fine.

The sanding tips fits my electric rotary tools without any problem. I was prepping aluminum to get it ready for polishing so I use these tips to sand off all the rough edge on smaller nook and cranny that I couldn’t reach with the buffer wheel. These tip did the job and did a great job on it.My only complaint is that they wear out very fast I would recommend a second package if you plan to do a lot of polishing and sanding.Overall, the quality is very good, and I would buy it again in the future without any hesitation.

The price seemed very reasonable. I will no doubt need this product in the future.
