3 of 10 sprouted - not sure it was the seed's fault. Seeds looked great.
I have 3 out of 10 that germinated and are growing. For a package of seed for $3.99 I consider even 3 to be a win. I'm anxious to see them grow and flower - hopefully late summer, but for sure next summer. Will probably update my review when I'm able to see them. Right now they're growing with others I purchased in a temporary grow plot of soil. Hoping they grow fast!

Not what I ordered!
Not Hibiscus seeds! These were holly hock seeds, waited a full year for flowers to bloom, surprise! Holly hocks, pretty in the back of the garden but not what I ordered.

Every seed I planted came up which always is amazing. The little plants are growing. Can't rate the flowers as they have a while to grow before they'll appear.

good if manage your expectations
these are okay, if you aren't expecting much. The colors in the picture are clearly fake, so don't expect anything like that. I planted the seeds in 2" seed starter pots with seed mix and within a couple of weeks had 7 sprouts. 2 died (I think from overwatering), but the remaining 5 grew very well. I had them all in one big pot but they started getting too big so I repotted 2. Those two kept growing but no flowers. The 3 in the original pot grew very well and had plenty of blooms throughout the summer. They were were average sized and a pretty pink in color. While you don't get the fantastical colors in the pictures, planting and growing the seeds is still much cheaper than buying a large hibiscus at a store. So far the most exciting part was that the plant seems to self-pollinate very well and I just collected a huge amount of seeds (see picture), some of which I plan to sow and others I will give to family and friends.Basically, if you expect normal flower colors and plant your seeds carefully according to instructions, you'll have a pretty hibiscus

they arrived early and in great condition.
I purchased these seeds in december...they arrived early and in great condition..I planted 4 seeds in 2 different containers and so far 2 have germinated, it took only 8 days to pop out..I used a small plastic cup African violet mix with extra perlite mixed into it and a large aluminum baking tray with a clear plastic lid over it. That sat into another aluminum tray that had a string of 50 clear Christmas lights between them to create heat. I am very satisfied with these seeds and will purchase again.

Big & Beautiful!
A rose by any other name is still as beautiful! And in my opinion all flowers are beautiful. And the bigger the better! These dinnerplate hibiscus fall into that category perfectly.

The star states it all, because they didn't come up, and was told they r easy to start, never happened with me. All the expense and anticipation of getting beautiful hibiscus in my yard that I get compliments on all the time that I have bought as plants. U would be very successful selling as plants. I myself would luv to see one that u have started from plants, Sorry!!!!!!!!
