Did not fit our Crestron Panels
Even though it says on the battery pack, TPMC-8X-BTP, the connector was slightly different from the OEM battery back and would not connect to our TPMC-8X. Will try to find an OEM outlet, since the rest on Amazon look pretty much the same.

After 7 years the battery in my Crestron panel had bit the big one. I bought this battery with a little trepidation having read the reviews but, given the price difference between this and a 'genuine' Creston battery, I thought it was worth the risk. Anyway, the battery arrived as promised and was well packaged. It was a bit 'fiddly' to install given the design of the Crestron panel but the connector did fit and appeared to be the same size and shape as the connector on the original battery. That said, I did need my long-nose pliers and a bit of brute force; again, I think that is as much down to the Crestron design as it is to the battery. The battery has been in the unit for two days now and is holding a charge. So a definite improvement on the old (dead) one.

Close, but the plug doesn't fit!
As another reviewer said, the end on this doesn't actually fit the panels. It's close, looking at the picture would make you think it's a match, but when you try to plug it in, it's no-go!

Works with some modification
This is the second battery I've purchased for my Crestron panel and both have worked fine with a slight modification to the connector. I had to remove the notch on the side for it to slide in correctly without too much effort. I've attached a photo of the notch I removed with an x-acto knife. Do this at your own risk. I'm not responsible if you damage your connector/battery.

I used a T-Pin to enlarge the openings and it was snug but fit fine. A small task to perform to save $125
As has been indicated before these don't quite fit. The molex connector holes are thinner than the original. I used a T-Pin to enlarge the openings and it was snug but fit fine. A small task to perform to save $125. Hopefully these will last as long as the originals.

Need to confirm how long the charge lasts.
The Connector had to be modified. Seems to work ok, just not sure how long the charge lasts will monitor.
