The New Principal's Fieldbook: Strategies for Success

Is helpful to someone looking to get into administration. It had activities after each section that you could do to improve in different areas. It didn't deal as much into "specific situations" like I would have liked.... but that might be too much to expect!

A Good Book amd Must for every new School Builder Leader!

Really enjoyed and continue to use this reference book. Lot's of practical examples and templates. Recommend for any new principals or experienced ones that need new ideas/templates.

Great book with lots of helpful strategies and deep thinking questions to prepare for an administrator's role.

The title page of the book was glued to the inside cover and after peeling part of it back you can clearly see this book belonged to the UHCL College of Education. Someone tried to conceal this information with a sticker. However, they were not clever enough to attempt to hide the stamp on the back inside cover. The book is in good condition, but I am annoyed that I purchased this as "new" while it was clearly used.

This book is a great read for new principals. The chapters are organized, logical, and the advice given is sound. Highly recommended.

Good book

Found this book very helpful when I started out as a new principal. Not everything applies to my school but it still provided some great insight and strategies. I would recommend it
