Small and Functional for the Kitchen
Tovolo Tumble Trivets, Red - Set of 8 I've only used these trivets a few times since I received them last week. So far, they have been quite useful.I have to mention that they are tiny. This is a good thing. I would estimate them to be about 2cm each. They don't take up much space in the kitchen and they come in a small tin can that you can place in a drawer.Since they come in a set of 8, you can place as little as 3 trivets to hold a small kettle or all 8 trivets to hold a large pan. I would not recommend using 2 since they need to balance the pot/pan. Make sure to place them towards the edges of the pot/pan and they should balance well. They do not leave any marks on the surface of the table and they are easy to clean. You can quickly handwash them or throw them in the dishwasher. This is a great addition to any kitchen without taking any room. It also adds a little style with the shape and colors.

Not Just A Trivet
These are not used in my kitchen, oh no, I use them under Rokus, Echo Dots, HUE Hub, Fire TV and other assorted devices that get unreasonably hot from being 24/7 plugged into their electrical source. My first use was with an Echo Dot (Gen 1) that was over heating, purchased 8 of the red ones, they all went under Echo Dots, the Dots are still perched up on their 4 little feet and merrily performing perfectly. Now I have them under Rokus, Hue Hub, my Fire TV and two other Hubs that get a little toasty.Raised up on their little feet the air can circulate around the device and assist in dissipating the heat produced thus extending the life of the device. Nifty use for these little gems and certainly a lot less expensive then replacing the devices due to them expiring early due to the heat production impacting their internal electronics. Effective and reasonable in use and cost, a little off the beaten track in the use, but makes prefect sense and totally works.

Love Love Love the Tovolo Trivets
Wow, these trivets are so clever and cute. They work really well and don't take up much storage space. What a reasonable price and they make a really fun, practical and unique gift. I just caution to be very careful with the trivets around pets and children since they are the size of jacks and could pose a serious safety issue. Otherwise, they are fantastic!

Unique and super lovable!
What a fun way to keep hot pans off of your counter! I have used these several times in the last 4 months. I love using them on my kitchen counter to keep hot pans off of the surface. I love that they are small, and store nicely in the little tin. I also love that they don't get nasty like other hot pads tend to do when food gets spilled. If something happens to spill on one of the trivets, you can simply run it under water, and ta-da, all clean- no need for the washing machine. I have had several compliments while entertaining about how fun they are- and quite often "what are those?" Everyone who has seen them loves them- a great conversation piece. My kids also love to play with them, and put them out when needed, because they are more like a toy than a kitchen accessory- and if I'm gonna cook, I want it to be fun!

If you're on the fence about buying these little suckers ...
Like you, I was skeptical as to their performance. They're extraordinarily small. How in the world can they successfully support any sized (hot) pot, pan, casserole-dish etc.? Believe it or not, they do! To test their support capacity, I placed three on the kitchen counter and set my full-to-the-brim Brita water pitcher on them. At first, it wobbled a little. After spacing the trivets further apart from each other, the pitcher stood there like a rock. Okay, they get an A+ for supporting heavy items. What about their ability to withstand searing temperatures without melting? A few days later, I baked a cake. Roughly 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Because I wasn't certain how they would hold-up (pun intended) I placed them on an old cutting board rather than directly on the counter-top. Another A+. Absolutely no melting, softening or reduction in stability. Solid, space-saving, ingenious little suckers. Now add them to your cart. You will not be disappointed.

They hold up a 9x13 full glass casserole easily
Nice. Much smaller than I expected. Each one is about the diameter of a nickel. They hold up a 9x13 full glass casserole easily, and comes with a little round storage container so they don't go missing. I wouldn't replace all my trivets with these but they certainly are a nice way to hold larger pans and trays. Haven't put a lot of weight on them but they seem sturdy. I think they're cute and kind of fun - probably a good little gift for a kitchen enthusiast.

A must for every kitchen
When I saw these trivets being used at a friend’s thanksgiving party last year, I knew I had to get one for myself. I only wished that it came in red or other color options. I can’t wait to use them for the next event I’m hosting! I only bought one pack of 8 trivets but am strongly considering on purchasing a 4 pack (32 count) as they would make great gifts!

they work great for any size or shape item
These are much smaller than i expected. I gave them to my mom and sister for stocking stuffers and we used them on christmas. they work great for any size or shape item. my one complaint would be that i wish there were 9 of them in a pack this way you could use them in sets of three. three of these are enough to hold up any dish.
