Best one on the market
The media could not be loaded. Any one giving this a negative review is lying ! This is one of the better converters. I tried 3 different ones ranging in price. This by far exceeds all expectations! If you have a modded ps2 it’s even better. Allows you to force 1080i. But even with out a mod it works great. Love it so much I bought another for the living room ps2. It needs power from usb or power plug. 3.5 not needed for hdmi tv hook up. Just buy it you won’t be disappointed if you have a newer tv.

It works exactly like they said
Hook up was fast and easy. The direction was okay but it was enough for me to understand what to do. When I read it, I was like how will this work. Works perfectly fine as of now .

Works well
Works good with PS2. Does not upscale resolution, but I didn’t expect it to. Looks good and clean picture output. Much better than composite video out.

Nope
Was so excited to get this and start playing my old PS2 games. I followed the directions and also watched several videos on how to install. The install was super simple. I was able to get the PS2 initial start up screen to come up but was getting "no signal" on my tv when I installed the game. I turned it off to start over again and now the system won't work at all. Can't even get the PS start up screen to come up. My smart tv actually has AV component inputs so I tried it that way and it did work but the picture quality is terrible. I reinstalled the converter and tried again and same thing happened as before--NOTHING. Cannot get a response from linkfor either. BOOOOOO!! Try another product.

PS2 Slim on ASUS Monitor
I bought this to play on one of my monitors. I saw one review that says it doesn't work with monitors, but it works with my 144hz ASUS monitor without any hassle. Note that my PS2 was already on component cable mode since that's what I was using on my TV.My only minor complaint is the power cord on the converter comes out right into the PS2's power cable and I don't like how they're wedged up against each other, but it works.I'd give it a 4.5 if I could give half stars. The picture quality is as good or better than the component cable I was using before. It's way better than the last HDMI converter I tried, probably because the last one used the RCA cable and this one uses the better quality component. The price is also incredible! Will update if anything changes.

Doesnt work with monitors, dont buy if you already have a video cable for your console.
This thing is pointless. It doesn't work with monitors but it works with TVs. There is no reason to buy this when most TVs have Component as an input option anyway. I recently got a ps2 but it didn't come with a video cable so I bought this and the default video out on the ps2 is RGB, it's hard to change the video settings when you can't see anything on screen. I ended up having to buy the original cable that the ps2 came with. When I actually was able to change the video setting, the picture quality was as good as it can be which is 480i for most games on the ps2. When I plugged the thing into an LG ultra-wide the signal was just flashing over and over, then I put it into another Samsung monitor that I had and there wasn't even anything being displayed but then I put it into my TV and it works perfectly fine. I don't know why this is happening but it's really strange, the manufacturer should have just made an RGB to digital converter so it actually works with anything that has HDMI.TLDR: just buy a component to HDMI adapter because it actually works with all HDMI displays.
