Everything about these little bags is ideal for me. They are divided into easily managed lots of 100 bags, each in its own zip-lock bag, all five together in a larger zip-lock bag. The 'zippers' close/open easily and hold well. The bags are completely transparent. The 4 mil thickness makes them tougher than many others. That they are available with Amazon Super-saver shipping is a big plus.That each 100 bags are held in their own resealable bag is a definite advantage. This makes the bags easily manageable, especially if only needing to remove a few at a time. It also keeps all the other groups of 100 completely protected (and neat) until needed. Another benefit is that it's pretty easy to quickly estimate how many bags are left at just about any time by seeing how many packs of 100 are unopened.The 2.5" width is not so common but that little half-inch definitely makes it easier to insert and remove any but very small items.Four mils of thickness means that the plastic will hold up much better than any of those 2 mil thick bags that are much more common. That is a great benefit when re-used multiple times as well as when routinely carried around.In some cases, I have found items with Amazon's Super-saver shipping to have a price not really cheaper than the competition's total price. However, with these (and some of the other plastic bags) that is not the case. They are priced very competitively, and that is just magnified when purchasing more than one lot as competitor's shipping prices are multiplied by however many lots are being purchased. These are nice thick 4mil bags. They are truly 2.5x3 which you will find some bags that claim to be and aren't. They are good and thick, not flimsy at all and seal very well. These bags do not tear easily, they are very hearty bags not like the thin plastic zippering bags you are used to. I use these to package up my products and then heat seal them, they work very well for this. These bags are nice and thick but still reasonably priced. I use them to store small parts or extra screw, bolts, nuts in the garage junk drawer. Not as thick as some industrial grade bags I've collected over the years (which are thick enough to hang on a pegboard pin through a holepunch hole on the top edge with heavy parts in them). But these are quite thicker than ZipLoc freezer bags are. Good quality and good price.

These bags are great for organizing my electronics parts, spare flash light battery for the car, those millions of cables we all get with out cell phones. Roll it up, throw it in the bag, and take a big marker to it. No more ball of wires, just a stack of easily identifiable bags. There are a lot of them though. I mean, I use theses all the time, and still, there are just so many of them. But at this price, not a problem! (Oh, and a little secret, 6 bonus bags! These zip lock bags are 4 mil thick (i.e. not flimsy) with a very good zip lock feature (i.e. it works), and perfect for many uses. I passed on three of the packs to my daughters (i.e. very convenient since they come in 5 packs of 100 each). Everyone was completely satisfied. A very good product and reasonably priced.Review Update (~2 years later): Just tried to use a few of the bags and they would not seal (no matter what I tried). I then randomly picked another five bags from my remaining supply (which was extensive). And they would not seal either. I tried to seal them in many ways with no luck. So I asked my wife and daughters to also try and none of us could get them to seal. What a waste! Note: The bags were stored in a kitchen cabinet (not subject to variations in heat or cold). All in all we used about 20 of the 500 bags that I bought and now will throw out the remaining 480. Not a good deal at all. This product went from 5 star to 1 star very quickly.

These bags aren't as strong as I'd expected. Some of them are very difficult to open and close. I consider this purchase a waste of money because I still have to replace them with more durable bags.

These bags are great quality. Considerably more substance than a standard sandwich bag. Really handy size. For reference: fits 4 AA batteries snugly, with about 1/2 inch free up top.Poor shipping quality control from seller! Like others, I only received 1 pack of 100, not 5. Love the bags I did get, but I'm missing 400 bags. Pain to deal with.

Great bags! Very durable. I use them for my vitamins and medication. Much better than the small thin bags you can buy at the drug store. Cheaper too! I also use them for earrings, small parts, etc. Very convenient, each pack of 100 is secured in its own bag. Highly recommend!
