DEWALT Grinder Tool, Self-locking Touch Control, 3-Inch (DWMT70784)

I have to cut a lot of sheet metal ducting just makes it quick and easy. Only disadvantage is that sparks fly everywhere and it’s a little loud but that is to be expected with these type of tools. Good price good value good quality.

I've been spinning wrenches for 40-years plus. Familiar with torches & air tools, but I don't own many beyond an impact wrench, air chisel or 3/8" drive air ratchet.Adding this cut-off tool is an awesome & long overdue addition to my tool box. After many good years of use my two-stage air compressor finally called it quits for good. Since it's likely going to be a good while before I come up with the +/- $2500 or so it's going to take to get a new one comparable to it I'm needing to make do for the time being with a little 15-gal which is a work-horse in its own right but can't provide anywhere near the CFM that many of my air tools use, especially not the ~8CFM my AirCat cutoff needs.So I picked up this Dewalt and I have to say that for a cutoff that can actually get by on less than the 5CFM my compressor will put out @ 90psi it does a pretty good job. Not bad at all. It won't rip right through things like I've been used to but it does do a lot better than I expected it would. In the couple months I've had it so far I've used it a LOT and it's held up well.I do find it a little awkward getting used to having to flip the safety lever every time I want to pull the trigger but again, I guess I've just been spoiled by my AirCat for so long.

This is a super solid cut off wheel! Grip is a great addition and the guard is amazing because the sparks actually shoot away from you rather than around the guard. Bought 2 I liked it so much!

Gets the job done

Exactly the quality product I’ve come to expect from Dewalt. Bought this and then used it for cutting half inch thick nails nonstop for two weeks! No problems!! Keep it oiled and it will just keep going!!

I work in a heavy truck shop and this air tool is amazing and a very good price. Most of my tools are dewalt.

Use it daily, little bulky, can't beat it for the price!
