was a case like a note book for my new surface pro, this product made my innovation a reality. It fits neatly in my leather portfolio, and magnetic strips allow for easy removal and fitting/secure storage of the new mobile office.It also disguises it as notebook/binder v. a laptop appeal to new unauthorized owners. When I get a zip up portfolio, I will reinvest in another roll.

I used this Magnetic Tape to secure my watercolor half pans to a tin that I basically recycled because I had a ton of different half pan watercolors and no place to store them all. Where I could just grab the whole package and go. This tape has allowed me to put all my watercolors in one place. Mind you I only have a few small watercolor sets but still I hates carrying all the different containers. My only complaint is that the adhesive on the back isn't quite holding up as well as I was hoping but it was only one and I think it was because I didn't get it on there when it was clean so that's operator error. Clean dry surfaces before sticking. Because the moment I cleaned the surface and let it dry completely everything stuck.

Utter garbage. Cannot hold its own weight. It has no magnetic properties at all. So, they lie to us, then make us deliver it back to them, because they lie to us. I am done with Scotch brand after this. Pure trash products!

Didnt work for what I initially wanted it for but it does work. Magnet and the back stick-glue it not very strong tho.

The weight it can hold can probably be measured in grams, not ounces, and certainly not pounds. The adhesive doesn't stick to anything other than smooth, hard surfaces such as metal or plastic, not wood or anything with a texture. Be sure this is suitable for your project before buying.

Every year I use this to hang my calendar on the refrigerator. This year’s calendar weighs 8 ounces (half a pound) and a piece of magnetic tape across the width of the calendar easily holds it up. As a new year rolls around, I pull off the magnetic tape from the old calendar and glue it onto the the new one. I had some of this magnetic tape that I used for probably 15 years, and it’s finally time to buy some more!

Do you think this will solve your problem? Probably not. I was going to use for curtains to snugly fit against the wall but the magnets are very weak and barely hold to things. The magnet needs a heavy duty metal thing to stick well such as a fridge. For small items to put on the fridge it will be okay. For most other things, if you need it to actually stick well then I'd look for a different product. Arts and crafts for the fridge and this will work
