Versatile & Functional
This product functions literally as depicted. As stereotypical as it is, I own a Mossberg 500 model and it fits right on in there and the actual scabbard is able to be transferred to a number of positions. You can have the scabbard act as an-over-the-shoulder-holder-for-your-lead-thrower, I prefer to actually keep the scabbard at my waist using the strap systems on the side sides. It makes it a lot easier to use for me when I go shooting and need to walk somewhere. Also it is able to be seen by the picture, but the little elastic shell holders along the spine are really a nicely utilized area that you can use to keep shells in. And this thing is really easy to maintain too. All you gotta do is throw it in the wash and the mud or sand or grime of a day of shooting will come right out and the foam insets won't quaver or bend. Or at least that has been my experiences thus far.Pros:You are getting exactly what you see. It is a scabbard. It is useful and it can hold your preferred method of firearm. It is durable and the foam absorbs shock. This is important to me, as I will walk with my scabbard and maybe hit rocks here and again and I really don't want my gun taking vanity damage. It offers color choice, not many, but you get itIt is solidly built all over. No loose seems, no frayed ends. Nothing wrong.Cons:None that I can currently think of.

Best Scabbard Option Available
Having run these on a couple different firearm setups, and wouldn't run any other scabbard but the Voodoo Tactical. There are several other off-brand copies out there, but don't waste your time on them to save a few bucks. The quality of this is exponentially better, they hold up over time, and they're priced exceptionally well for what they are. Use one everyday for a 14" Shockwave, and it's perfect.

Tight fit
I just received this scabbard and my initial thoughts are positive. Unlike other reviews, what I received was definitely a Voodoo branded product. I am using this for a Mossberg 590 Shockwave. The pouch is very tight, so much so that it wants to push the pump handle rearward when inserting the firearm. I don’t think this is an issue however because I feel it will break in due time/use and also there is no additional form of retention via a traditional strap/tumb- break, so the tightness is appreciated. Overall a good product.

Ergonomics not quite right
Seems to be made well but there are 2 points I think need to be made clear. The strap rings are on only one ONE side of the scabbard, which makes it carry in an odd position if you are right handed and have it slung over your neck chest, if feels best for lefties. The scabbard/strap/rings also are not balanced well so the gun will rest "upside down" trigger guard facing up. The2nd point is the scabbard is just snug for a Mossberg Shockwave and will probably loosen up a little BUT there is no play at all if you have a streamlight forend which is slightly larger or if you were to have a forward rail mounted to the mag tube for attaching a laser/flashlight. I have a Crimson Trace 590 designed laser that does not interfere but forget any side saddle or flashlight attachment.Otherwise it seems to be a good produce but it does need some TWEAKS to make it ideal, for now just consider it a dust case for the corner of your room if you don't plan on any forend or flashlight accessory. If you do don't bother buying it.

Perfect holster for disabled persons!!
This holster was PERFECT for my mares leg pistol. I also needed something to store my reacher in my power chair. Seems like any time you attach the name "medical" or wheel chair to any product they think it warrants a HUGE price - it was actually cheaper to buy this holster than to get any other device from a drive medical place. It goes with me everywhere now, and if I feel a need to carry, we have a good law allowing everyone to carry open or concealed in this state. So now I can feel safe as a disabled person able to fully protect myself!! I highly recommend this product, as it is tough and has weathered a lot of bad handling in the last six months with no problems!! It NEVER shifts position on my chair either, even when driving around at 70 mph with it mounted on the back of my truck LOVE IT!!

Not just for a Shotgun
I have a Henry's Mares leg .357. I've been looking for a holster but only found custom made ones that were way over my budget. I saw this scabbard at a local gun shop with a pistol grip shotgun inside, and took some measurements. After measuring my Mares Leg, I determined it would fit. Upon arriving, it was a nice tough exterior with a softer nylon interior. The Henry Mares Leg fit perfect and only left a small portion of the short stock exposed. Has Molle straps for attaching other items on the outside or it can be attached to a Molle pack or vest. This scabbard was exactly what I was looking for and a great price.

Well made product. Make sure it’s what you need
14 inch Mossberg shockwave . I’d looked at the ones with the flap. I wanted one that would basically work as a case and you could use to lug it around in a highly unlikely emergency. This one isn’t the best for that. Covered about half the gun.Extremely well made and sturdy with a lot of good attachment points and a sturdy sling. High quality product, just not what I wanted.
