OP/TECH USA 1301102 Uni Adaptor Loops (X-Long) - System Connectors, Black

The Op/Tech product line is first rate. I've been using their products for years to suspend my heavy camera/lens from my body or my pack depending on how I have configured the adapters and never had a problem nor a fear that something would let go and drop my expensive gear to the ground, into the Grand Canyon, down the side of a cliff, etc. Because of their simple yet brilliant idea of using matching female/male ends, when not being used to attach gear to the straps, the ends of the adapters snap together making a convenient handle.But I'm looking for comfort and functionality. The padded neck band they offer does a superb job taking the strain of camera body + lens and spreading it. The strap set for use with a backpack allow me to clip my camera case or camera (as the needs might be) to my pack for a little bit easier transport, all the while not having to worry about loss of gear or damage to it.

This does what it advertises, at a fair price. Now I can go between my neck strap or shoulder sling without changing the camera-side connector!

These OpTech adaptor loops serve very well to add quick detach capability to cameras, scopes or other gear that is usually carried on a sling or a harness. The connection is easily made, because the loops fit even narrow camera lugs, yet the gear is firmly and securely held.The actual connectors are 1" across, wider than some straps, albeit correspondingly stronger. There is a smaller version available, but it is more finicky to open when it is very cold outside, so the larger size is preferable in my view.

I purchased this item to add onto an existing set, to give a little more latidude when changing from one set up to another. Fantastic way to adjust gear.

Este producto y su marca me convencieron a comprar porque no era ni muy caro ni muy barato.Me ha resultado demasiado cómodo, al tacto es suave y agradable y es antiderrapante. Compré originalmente el corto, pero como no me gusta colgar al cuello, sino más bien al hombro para mayor descanso y rápido acceso, compré la extensión, de las cuales solo usé 1 de las 2 partes que viene y me quedó a la altura (mido 1.70 m y complexión media) Si mides más de 1.80 o eres de complexión muy robusta, quizás sí necesites las dos partes la extensión.

Good for me, With my eyesight going a little I need to hold the camera just a few centimetres further away to get the screen and buttons in sharp focus. and at the price seem infinitely better value than the velcro strips they sell at an almost similar price!!

Bought to extend the attachment possibilities of my existing OP/Tech camera strap, this is a good system and comes at a reasonable price. I find nothing that concerns me with the strength of the attachment clips, but the availability of the 'Velcro' reinforcement tabs would satisfy the needs of those with any such worries.
