DK Readers L1: LEGO DC Super Heroes: Ready for Action! (DK Readers Level 1)

It's hard to find a truly easy reader, that also engages kids who don't yet enjoy reading. The vocabulary is clear and repetitive, plus the illustrations are fun. Not great literature--but that's not the goal at this point!

I recently purchase this book for my 6 year old son.This book combined things my son and I love, legos and superheros. It introduces you to Batman, Robin, Superman, and Wonder Woman and a few of their enemies.This book is for beginners. It has simple text and sentences. Some help may be needed with a few of the words. Great illustrations. There is also a picture glossary. We have read this book several times. Well worth the few bucks I paid for it.

Great book. 6 year old loves it

Great for getting my kindergartener interested in reading.

My boys (ages 6 and 4.5) love this and choose it to read over and over. As a reader, it has been easy for my 6-year-old to learn the words (level 1 is exactly his reading level). I like that it doesn't have too scary of fights or images (no nightmares) and that the superheroes are aligned with their traditional characters (Batman has a co-hero named Robin unlike the modern movie character Batman).

Not a huge fan, as all things Lego seem designed to sell products, but I think our grandson will like it.

Grandson loves this game

The story line isn't as good as other Lego Kindle books. The photo's are not high def and when you zoom they are not as good as the other books. Also the photo scenes are basic and most of the pages contain either just a lego man or simple vehicle. Other books in this range provide more detailed pixels and effort on building the sets.

Would recommend if you Lego and super heroes if not don’t bother your just wasting your time in buying or sample it

Daughter loves batman and the super heros she loves a story book too and these are great!

I bought this book for my 4 year old who is mad on lego. He starts school in September and I wanted to try and start him looking at words as I point and read. I have some of the pre-level one books as well but as he likes lego, it is easier getting him to look at the words and the picture.
