Update:I would not use the shock feature on this collar before being certain it is working consistently. It works occasionally, but not consistently. I have altered the settings to see if this would help, but it hasn’t.It could be that the collar works better on some dogs, e.g, big dogs vs. medium dogs, I don’t know. It hasn’t worked consistently for my dogs, however. They are thirty pound terriers.————————————————————I’ll update this review if anything changes, but one collar didn’t work properly right out of the box. It beeped when my dog was quiet and didn’t beep when she barked.The second collar worked the first day, but now it is randomly beeping. Both collars were charged when we used them, so I am not sure what the issue is.I sent one back to get a replacement, and the second started to fail. I’ll see if the replacement works. If not— both will be returned.

My tiny little girl HATES this thing, we only use it when she wont stop barking BUT even a mention of "the collar" and she stops 😂 she hates this thing, which I get is the point, I just feel bad as soon as she stops barking and take it off. I do not think it hurts her, BUT she doesnt even like getting near the collar😂😂

I really wanted to give this product five stars because the first 2 weeks that I began using this on my dogs it worked miracles. I had two main issues that I would be dealing with my shihtzus... The first being that as soon as I would walk to the garage to get ready to leave the house they would begin howl spells which was very embarrassing for me. These collars helped 100% with that issue as they no longer even attempt to howl as long I put the collars on before I leave the house. The second issue was that since I shared a fence with my neighbors their dogs would always come up to the fence and my dogs would bark back and forth with theirs. The first two weeks they would not even go near the fence as they had gotten the message loud and clear that as long as they barked at them the collars would go off. This was such a relief for me and I final was able to let them outside without being worried that they would start barking uncontrollably at the other dogs. After a month of use the collars stopped responding to their barking with an occasional trigger every so often that was not even from them barking (they would be rolling in the grass and it would go off.) I made sure to have them fully charged as I thought the problem was that the battery being low caused a lack of response to the barking. I will say that the battery life on them is excellent. Also if you have smaller dogs like shihtzus I did find that they were a bit too big and had a lot of excess fabric at the end. I did not want to cut it as it would just keep unraveling.Their barking habits ended up resuming. I am very disappointed because for the few days that the collars did work my life had restored peace. I ordered a few as I have a houseful of shihtzus and based off of other reviews I decided to get them as an investment but since they stopped working after one month the return window had already closed so now I am stuck with them.

Our 20 lb. Mini Cockapoo had crazy separation anxiety whenever we left our new place we just moved into. We recently downsized and moved into an apartment. Given that we have neighbors, we purchased an Arlo camera system to watch and listen to our dog when we left the house. To our horror, our little fur baby would bark non-stop and whine continuously...we had no idea it was that bad! We purchased this collar and with minor adjusting, he doesn't bark or whine when we leave the house. This process took 5-6 days with the collar with sensitivity level on HIGH, vibrate on HIGH and shock on MEDIUM. We did try just the vibrate which gives an audible beep which did work for a day or so, but he's a smart little bastard and figured out it really didn't do anything and started barking again. Once we introduced SHOCK...he immediately "YIPPED" and stopped barking. We are hoping that in the coming week we are able to just place the collar on him without even turning it on. We'll see and I'll update later. So far, I definitely recommend this collar.

I moved into an apartment with my lab mix and we've always lived in single family homes so he wasn't used to constantly seeing people and other dogs on our walks. He's not aggressive at all but would let out several loud barks and I felt like it was maybe scaring my neighbors, especially those with little dogs. He's stubborn and doesn't always want to listen so I bought this collar to try out because I did not want a shock collar. It was actually quite funny when I first got it because you could tell it annoyed him more than anything. I only put it on him when we go for walks and I have noticed an amazing difference after about a week! The other day I tried walking him without it and before we even got to the door he let out one of his super loud barks, so I turned around and put the collar on before we actually left and that was the end of that!

I originally liked the product for it's long distance reach, and ease of use. I even referred this product to a client in training. Her's stopped working and I recommended her to return for defect. Then a week later mine stopped working too, except now it's too late to return it. I also noticed that the vibrate mode didn't see to change much between upper and lower intensity. Now it doesn't work at all. Super bummed I can't return.

I have a small terrier who feels compelled to bark and alert at everything: the golfers, the mailman, the birds, trash guys, a guest in our house wearing hats or back packs, or even when I get the foil out to wrap something! After wearing a week or two, he will stop barking if I just show the collar to him. So, he knows what I mean when I say, "No Bark." Not a miracle, he still barks a lot, but at least this is a teaching tool. The vibration only startles him, he is not hurt in any way. My recommendation would be to use this early in the dog's life, and everybody will be happier and calmer!
